Hugs to everyone having a hard time, esp Mumof2 and Dustykitten.
DS worked today then came home and moved DD2's bed to her new house. They are officially 'in' now. Instead of spending today here, preparing her stuff they went to buy curtains. They got very confused and have bought the wrong size. Cue tears.
I keep telling her that new homes are never perfect, but she has unrealistic expectations.
We will see what tomorrow brings. My Saturday evening is about to involve a bath and an early night...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Had quite a productive day, even though there isn't a lot ticked off the list. Put the downstairs tree up, went to shop and got some stocking fillers plus some little solar powered lights for the trees outside. Also had a thought about remaining elf antics and planned the 'big' ones. Tonight we watched a film while I wrapped pressies. All work ones done. 7 cousins, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, mum and dad. Just got to do brother and sil, OH and boys. Ds1 also needs to wrap a few little token pressies for grandparents and teachers. Hubby out Wednesday night so plan is to do another load then! Cards tomorrow night!
Have also organised stocking bits into seperate bags and treasure hunt presents and Christmas eve hamper bits.
The elf has brought popcorn, sweets and a Christmas movie for tomorrow!

Morning all
Another grey day here. DW emptied, needed to put some salt inand put the washing on the maiden.
Plan:
finish decorations and put all boxes away
collect Christmas jumper
finish ironing
update present list, bit of online shoppingThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all. Been MIA for a couple of days, busy at the office and a day out yesterday with DD so no flying done, just about keeping on top of dailies.
DH has a rare day off today so I'm not quite sure what the plan is yet. There is a fence to fix, ironing to be done and the dailies but I'm not sure any of it will happen.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
I lost Thursday to work, errands and painting my window. Friday I lost to spending hours soaking in a very hot bubble bath as I was aching so much I couldn't think straight or stand for too long. Felt much better afterwards, and made my last delivery of the year to a customerI am unofficially on holiday now until the 21st, and officially on holiday from the 22nd until January 4th when DD goes back to school. Well, kind of, I still have admin to do but its not quite work when I can do it while in my pjs watching stuff on the TV :rotfl:
Yesterday I got the flylady cards in the post and got very annoyed that they've changed the collection times from midday to 10.30am at the sorting office, or 9am on the closest post box  Then I spent the rest of the day painting my window and writing lists. My wall above my desk is yet again covered in different coloured/sized sticky notes. However, they should all be gone by the end of the week as I'm getting a weekly bus pass and I will be finishing off all the shopping before DD breaks up on Friday
Today I need run a couple of weekly errands with DDs help as my wrist/hand is still hurting when I forget and use it but doing much better. I'm also hoping to finish the window today. Speaking of which I best get moving. Its now light enough I can see what I'm doing.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Survived another flood warning. Fields all around under water, but it hasn't crossed the road. The lip of verge is holding back the deluge...cue, sleepless night. River levels are dropping but still a stressful night.
I haven't managed to post my flylady cards or secret Santa yet - I promise it will happen tomorrow. Got the epic round trip to Sussex later, so will be totally knackered when we get back...
Have moved some kitchen items into the static caravan, but that's all x0 -
Aww Dusty I think we all have moments like that this time of year. Families eh?
Pigpen that tree is amazing. We have done incredibly well to get to 13th December without some kind of meltdown by DS1 and actually he has been quite calm about Christmas so far. We know that sometime over the next 3 weeks it will all get too much.
Dizzy really hoping you get a dry week this week. I know its an understatement but it must be such a worry.
Nicki cant wait to see a pic of the window!
Right sounds like people are moving upstairs. I have got such bad indigestion this morning, can hardly move!0 -
