Eugh - don't think I'm quite 100% - sore eyes, headache, feel a bit shivery and I know it sounds weird but when I did my roll on deoderant under my arms hurt. That apart I was the first one up and dressed and have a load in the WM, done the ironing (will be more to come when this lot that's in the WM is dry), helped S with his Christmas cards and put breakfast dishes into DW.

Feel like I'm treading on eggshells around J; I showed him what I've done in the extension and apparently it's OK but now he's busy packing to go skiing next weekend. I asked re Thursday and what provoked him so badly (Cubs - when I told him I've cancelled it) and he said he was so angry because he was tired and stressed re the meeting yesterday. Why didn't he tell me about it before? And apparently he has 'a plan' which I've messed up due to properly handing in notice but he's still intending to beaver away at it. What bit of S is stopping Cubs because he doesn't enjoy it doesn't he understand? So he's still controlling things and not listening and I'm still feeling sad and disillusioned with marriage.

Going to make us a sandwich for lunch and then do cooked dinner I think. Want to see Strictly tonight - I have Georgia and Giovanni on a sweep stakes so really want them to get to the final!!

Hugs to all; I did read what you've all posted but my poor spinny head has forgotten it all, sorry.

Put the presents on the spreadsheet I made up for last year to see how much I've spent and all seems fine. Need to get Z to pack up her bag ready for trip to Holland on Thursday and make it as easy as she can as I have to get her to school for 7.15am  and of course S will have to come too as can't leave him home alone. Luckily he's an early riser.

We all had a bit of a blitz of the house this morning so kitchen, dining room and living room looking a lt more presentable.

OH has given the nursery a second coat of emulsion and wanted to do the ceiling next but he got distracted by the smelly sink. Whilst investigating it, something broke, which has resulted in him going out to get a part for it!

I have filled the holes in the playroom coving so that can be emulsions tomorrow as well.

This afternoon I want to pop out to get some lights for the little trees outside, put up the downstairs tree, write some cards and wrap some pressies.

I've got as far as putting the lights on the tree, in that time DH has told me he's turned vegetarian and my Sis has said she does not want to come for Christmas. The fact that the gingers are chewing the lights already seems quite trivial.

Boss has been implored NOT to spin it to £2K - because I'm the one who pays it into the bank!

To quote you, Wooty wooty woot woot woot! Jolly well done, Valli.

(((Hugs))), and that goes for Mumto2 as well.

Last card posted, last present wrapped, OH's birthday shopping commenced (6 January, a right bore if I leave it until after Christmas, fabulous if I get it all done before), WM x 1 all pegged out and blown about even though it's been mizzling all day so it's a bit drier than when it went out but not much, decorating spree planned at best pals house for a bank holiday weekend next year, shower room finished, superking ready for panto muso arriving tomorrow night. Poor thing, she's driving down from Inverness!

Devil Cat can't, apparently, tolerate one of the new super-expensive tins of food he tried this morning. I had no idea cats could projectile vomit.
    Better is good enough.
