If you are not sure its a good idea, then whats the rush......the right decision will be made eventually. What I have learnt over the last couple of years is to go with what you NEED to do in order to get through each day with your sanity intact, and not worry too much about the consequences. I left a job I absolutely hated at the drop of a hat (not without a lot of support from the MSE'ers on here) but walked into a new job the day after. If hadn't walked out I wouldn't be where I am today. If I had thought about it I would not have left because I had debts to pay, but the truth is I enjoy my job now and as a consequence have more energy to concentrate on trying to be debt free.
Your mental health is much more important than being debt free, although the two issues are very much tied in together.
Is moving in with your sister such a bad idea.... She may not worry about you as much if she sees how capable you really are and you may see the side of your sister that does exist, the one that makes mistakes, after all she is still human.......
That said I hope you start to feel a bit better having rested for a couple of days. Maybe a trip to the doctor would help?
I am ashamed to admit this but despite having lived here since February and despite constantly being reminded by my sister about it I have not yet actually got round to registering with a local doctor yet and my GP is still my one from home which is 350 miles away.I think I would really quite like to move in with them in some ways and I did always used to spend my summer and Christmas and Easter holidays from uni living at their various homes anyway and I always loved it because it always felt so happy and safe and secure there but that was only temporary and I am not sure that I could cope with it full time.
Wherever she is there is always a stream of people coming and going at all hours of the day and they are both really social and outgoing people who always seem to have a lot happening and in a lot of ways their house always in a way feels kind of like a youth club for grown ups and I am not sure that I could actually cope with that for 365 days of the year because I am in a lot of ways quite a private person who needs my own uninterupted quiet space and I am probably quite difficult to live with in a lot of ways I think.
As for her being human I believe that the jury is still out on that one.

Has anybody here ever been to a car boot sale or sold stuff at one? I am only asking because my sister has just very proudly informed me that this is going to be my next money making venture and that I have to pack up all of my decent branded clothing and handbags and accessories and also footwear that I have worn less than five times because we will be selling it tomorrow.
I have never been to a car boot sale before and neither has she and we really do not know what we are doing and I am pretty certain that people will not buy my old clothing off of me anyway never mind my shoes.
She seems to think that they will and somebody at her work told her that this is what they do regularly to save for Christmas every year and she seems to think that it will be fun as well but I am really not sharing any of her optimism right now.

I've never been to a car boot either Ciara, but I've heard that decent clothing does well on Ebay.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I was going to suggest Ebay too but that's only if you can bear hassle of packing it all AND postal strike. Car boot may raise less cash but would be quicker and less stress imho. Thank you Spud I think ebay would be my preferred option as well if I am being totally honest because it is to a cetain extent still an anonymous way of raising money but she is insistent that we are doing a car boot sale and she is going to phone her husband and tell him exactly what he has to pack up from their house and wardrobes and then she is going to get him to drive it all the way down here for tomorrow and make him help us sell it all.Getting up at 4.00 am on a Sunday to stand outside in the freezing cold all day selling my worldly treasures for 50p each is not really appealing to me right now but the idea of seeing my brother in law in the same position and trying out his abilities as a street trader is really starting to grow on me.

I do not think that I am being given any actual choice in the matter.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0 -
I am definitely being given no choice regarding having to take part in the sale tomorrow and I am panicking already because I am far too self conscious to be able to come up with clever responses at a moments notice to make people want to buy things and am already feeling very uncomfortable at the prospect.
My brother in law arrived a while ago with the car packed to exploding point with the things that my sister told him to bring and she already has him hard at work unpacking and repacking in what she considers to be a sensible order for tomorrow but when she got to the point where she was counting coat hangers to see if there were enough I decided that it was best to pretend that I do not feel well and hide in my bedroom.
I think I will give it at least an hour before even thinking about venturing back out there again for my own mental as well as physical safety. :rotfl:

Good luck tomorrow.
You'll probably be back home by the time I get out of bed :rotfl:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Please do not tell me that because it is so unfair.
I am already searching for the warmest outfit possible that does not have too many layers and does not make me look grotesquely overweight and I am not having much luck so far. I just cannot wait to be stood in 2 feet of mud in a soaking wet field in the bitter cold probably before sunrise with a woman who will be grinning her head off constantly and chatting to anything with a pulse in the way most people would only do on a tropical beach and who has the kind of organisational skills that make military dictators in general look like hobbyists.

I'd love to swap places with you but.........I wont
Look at it this way, you'll be debt free a long time before me.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
