Thank you I am sure I will because it has been picked by my sister and she knows the area very well because she lived there for three years the first time that she went to university and she knows all the really good restaurants.
I think she might be trying to set me up again or something because she has just told me that her husband's friend is in the area visiting his mum this weekend and he wants to come along as well. I will not however enjoy the early start under any circumstances. :rotfl:

You could always swap and have dinner with two military types and my even crazier now that she is alcohol and tobacco free sister?
You will have time to get ready because the restaurant is booked for 9.00 pm.

The dinner was wonderful and the company was good as well and I have even sort of managed to clear the air with my brother in law who has been less than best pleased with me recently.
I am still dreading the sale thing in the morning only worse now than I was before because I have had such a good day and am happy and do not think that I will ever get to sleep now.

I am unfortunately stuck in an 18 month phone contract though from before I became single and broke. My sister already showed me how to get the free messages on my computer as she uses them a lot to contact her husband who works away.
Sorry only read some of the first page posts so apologies if any of this has been repeated to you.....
Can you not reduce your contract to the min tariff they offer? thats what I had to do with mine, also my sky subscription I was tied into a contract with them too,
I posted tonight on another thread that someone started about living on smartprice/basics/value for a month
I had to change my shopping budget when my household went from 4 to 7 people!! it saved me no end of money, I shop online with tesco and am a regular on the discount vouchers online offline boards, it offers so many vouchers and clubcard points etc to bank up it can save you a hell of a lot.
I must admit, I didn't come to this site till after I signed up with a DMP with a company  not through CCCS, and I am paying them £29 a month  to pay my creditors, but I have started the ball rolling with them to pay them directly myself. but initally they did get it all sorted for me and got them to agree the amounts, so now it it amking it easier for me to talk to my creditor because the agreements are already in place through the DMP company.
Get yourself signed up with some of the cashback sitesthat are on the thread on here, they are great. I have earned £45.94 in cash back off various sites in the since 1st oct...... go to the referrals board so you will also help out one of your fellow moneysavers ......
I hope things work out for you and good luckIf you like what I say please say thanks

Thank you I am already signed up with Quidco but have to actually get my sister to do her online shopping using my account because I do not even have a debit card and cannot buy anything that way myself. My food budget has gone to almost nothing now because not only am I working a lot in my second job but I am getting fed there as well and I also have kitchen cupboards which are full to bursting with dried and tinned and packet foods because my sister did a huge shop when she visited a few weeks ago when I was quite literally drowning in debt. I also have the freezer packed with meats that she bought from the local farmers market although the pretty labels with very simple and clear instructions on exactly how to defrost and cook them were added by her and did not come from the farmers. :rotfl: I now collect every kind of loyalty point going from every shop that I know about but I do not have much saved yet because I am now rarely spending any money but my sister has taken the additional cards for clubcard and nectar points and is using her shopping to top up my points for me which I really appreciate since Christmas is getting closer by the second. Good luck with your debt slaying as well I hope it all goes well for you too.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0
