Glad to hear of everything going on - really brightens my day.
Hope sister is feeling better soon. Mmmm lots of tips to throw at debt, these accountants must be made of money!
You really would not be envious of the running if you had seen me when my sister first forced me to take it up during my darkest and most self pitying and most in hopeless debt hell days because it really must have not been a pretty site at all. :rotfl: In fact I think that it may well have scared small children if they had been unlucky enough to see me doing it.The most shameful bit is that when I first started I was not at all able to keep up with a group who all simultaneously lit up a cigarette as soon as they had stopped running. It really is good now though and I am glad that I stuck with it because it really does make me feel an awful lot more cheery and helps me deal with stress and upsets a whole lot better too although I still think that reaching for alcohol feels better in the short term.
I am not sure whether they were really all that made of money or just very drunk because in a lot of cases it was almost like watching them revert to a rugby team night out at the students union bar instead of watching a group of educated and mature and responsible adults enjoying a social event.

That's me in the classroom, regulrly scaring little children:rotfl: but know what you mean. As a lardy walker i am actually quite fast and have been known to break into a jog when chasing the odd miscreant:cool:

Yep am with you on that one, Unfortunately most of my upset is with Mr BOB, and he is worse to look at with hangover:rotfl: :rotfl:I am not sure whether they were really all that made of money or just very drunk because in a lot of cases it was almost like watching them revert to a rugby team night out at the students union bar instead of watching a group of educated and mature and responsible adults enjoying a social event.

Policemen are also the same, and for that matter any men of similar ilk:rotfl:
We have a friend who is a policeman and a rugby player- he has a unique style of enjoying himself on a night out- which includes something called a flaming A- i would ask any rugby players what it means:eek: :rotfl:

Owing to my brother in laws profession I think I might have heard reference to the expression used by your friend on more than one occasion and other similarly charming expressions.
If you do not mind me asking what has Mr BOB done to upset you? I am now in for the night with a few bottles of wine and some films and my boyfriend to cuddle up to while watching them because I am really trying to keep to my budget and he is being very supportive of this though he did take me out for a very nice late lunch which was not in a very cheap place at all.

I am on my way to doing that but he went to the kitchen to fetch some glasses a while ago and seems to have gotten lost although my sister has a group of friends round tonight so I maybe will have to go and rescue him soon but not yet.

Good moening.
I have definitely had an excellent weekend and have made lots of progress towards becoming debt free as well because the show went really really well and I am due lots more commision now as a result.
Adding the two lots together that I have earned so far this month and my hotel wages as well as the money that I will manage to save from my wages then at worst I will at least be able to offer Buchannan Clark and Wells a full and final settlement on the outstanding amount which there is achance they will not not accept but it is at least worth trying anyway.
I could at this rate find myself potentially bad debt free by the end of the month which just leaves the dreaded student loans outstanding. I still actually have some money left over from last month as well which I could pay them but I am being a bit selfish and keeping it because I am going skiing this weekend and would for a change actually like to spend some of my hard earned cash on me especially since a few more people including my lovely boyfriend have booked flights as well and are coming to stay in the chalet too and just for once I would really like to actually be able to take my turn and buy a round of drinks for everyone.

I was actually thinking about getting my sister on to them because she has an amazing knack for getting others to see things exactly from her perspective. :rotfl: I just hope that they do accept a settlement figure from me or they might just kill my plans to be bad debt free by the end of the month but I will just have to wait and see.I aquired some Gucci jewelery over the weekend so that if things get really desperate then at least I have that to fall back on. I cannot wait to go skiing because I have not been for ages and I love it so much and my sister bought me some amazing new clothes in a closing down scale so I am going to be the best dressed person there.

As I planned due to being the brave sort that I am I got my sister to call Buchanan Clark and Wells for me to see if she could negotiate a settlement figure on my outstanding bad debt which she did spectacularly well.
I now have an achieveable figure to aim for at the end of the month that I should definitely be able to manage.
