i've registered on the govbernment teaching website and they sendong me a pack...think grants are mostly for shortage subjects...drama is not classed as shortage, can't teach primary as i dont have gcse science grade c or above! i'm not giving up i just really need to leave my job at the mo as i'm beginning to hate it now!!

A girl I trained with did not have science either but she did it part time as an open learning thing through Learn Direct but it was not actually a GCSE that she got at the end of it but an approved equivalent qualification of some kind and it did not cost her very much either which might be helpful if you were interested in primary. :D

Ciara's sister is in fact now my sister - Ciara gave her away to me, way back in the summer ;)

I forgot about that. :o Please do not tell her that I gave her away or she might get upset about it and not want to be my friend any more. :o

thats sounds quite good, i did read that you can do a refresher course in english, maths & science if you didnt have any of them.
while i was doing my degree i did 6 weeks work experience in a school for one of my modules & also went into a school a couple of times as part of the literacy project..using drama to help...i loved it

I am not sure but I think that I might have to fight to get my full entitlement of aunty and baby sessions because despite appearing to be a bit of a wild party animal type on the surface my sister loves children and is absolutely fabulous with them even although she thinks that she is not which is probably part of the reason why she more or less adopted me. :D

i think whats frustrating me is that i know i would love doing it and i know i would be good at it but it's not easy to get the opportunity in my situation, had i graduated uni at 21 still living at home i could have easily done pgce

I cannot wait either and I am really excited about it when the baby actually arrives but I am just worried and in fact terrified that due to genetics my niece or nephew will be just as perfect in every way as both of its parents. :o:D
