Thank you very much.I will be around for quite a while because even although I am nearly bad debt free I am not debt debt free yet and will not be for a while so unfortunately you are all stuck with me for the time to come anyway.

I got back late on monday night and I am very proud to say that despite attempting snow boarding for the very first time ever and probably the last time as well because I am just not a natural I managed to survive completely injury free.
I had a wonderful time and feel totally revived and refreshed even although I was constantly exercising.
I did both of my second jobs last night after finishing my day job and I will be doing the same every day this week but it is all for a good cause and totally worth all of the effort although I cannot wait for the Easter holidays so that I can catch up on some sleep but that is only just over a week away so I cannot complain too much.
I am definitely on target for becoming totally bad debt free this month and spent next to nothing when I was away because the men insisted on taking it in turns to buy both drinks and dinner for all of the ladies which I must confess I totally loved even although this is probably not the politically correct response.

Hi Ciara,
I've been reading your whole thread for about a week now, but still only up to January's posts.
I was wondering if you kept a log of how you paid off your debt, and if you'd be willing to share it?
Youv'e done so well in such a short space of time. Good luck with the rest of your journey,

Thank you so much though I am really not convinced that I did deserve it or anything like that but I really loved every minute of it anyway because I am getting really good at this freeloading thing.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0 -

You are far better at it than me anyway and doubtlessly you will be far better at the actual snowboarding because I am certainly not a natural at it and was quite frankly rubbish at it.But at least I tried.
:rotfl: Do you know my sister at all because she says exactly the same thing about men except she says that they really only truly have two uses in life and one of those is paying for things.

Thank you so much for actually reading my self pitying and mostly pathetic rambling and not just deciding after page two that I am an imature self obsessed idiot which is kind of how I think that I come across most of the time.My only real log of how I paid everything off is my bank statements showing how much I have paid every month but I have been really lucky and I have had far more help than I deserve along the way which has really helped out.
The real secret to my success though is in becoming a complete and utter unashamed freeloader.
:rotfl: I live rent and bill free and have two extra jobs and I am able to chanel most of my income towards debt repayment and I also am related to a modern day superhero who has went out of their way to make it all possible and achieveable for me who lives in the disguise of being my sister.
