  • Told you so, good news about the extra work as well- Hope you can fit your lovely boyfriend in as well, i need to get some extra work as well. Don't want to go back full time just yet as youngest dd is still having a lot of hospital appts and can't fit it all in. I am looking to do marking and tuition.

Have you signed up with any agencies regarding doing the tuition or would you do it privately? Have you done the adult ed certificate that I really cannot remember the proper name for which lets you still teach evening classes at local colleges which would still leave you all day free to go to appointments? :o I promise that I will not be neglecting my boyfriend even although I will be working more because thankfully I am not nearly as stupid as I look and I really do know a good thing when I see it. :D We talked about it last night and he said to absolutely go for it because although that would end up with him spending less time with me just now it will mean that when my debts are cleared that we have far more time to spend together in the future which was a bit scary talking about long term and futures but it was lovely to know that he is serious about giving our relationship a chance. :D

I have signed up with a couple of agencies, and when i went to a college open evening regarding tutors, they say i dont have to take a certificate as am very well qualified and QTS status covers it,the same goes for all my postgraduate certificates. I am hoping that evening work does leave me free during the day for appts, as i find it almost impossible to pre organise as i have to get back, pick up from college and take to appt.
As most of them are in Manchester -a good 30 miles away, most of day is gone- not including waiting time for consultants who are on a different time scale to the rest of us.
lovely to hear your boyfriend is backing you- it will be quite an achievement when all finished. The plus side is that he knows you are an independent person and determined so he will appreciate those qualities in you.

    Hi Ciara,

I really enjoy reading your diary. Do you mind me asking where you bought all your new clothes. I'm going shopping tomorrow but have a very limited budget and am trying to plan where to go.

    Thanks,

Hi I went mostly to New Look who do really fabulous versions of items that you find in much higher priced stores and they always seem to have a brilliant clearance section where lots of things are less than half their original price and Primark who seem to stock a good few items that appear to be almost exactly the same except for minor details like buttons and belts as things from Oasis except that they are much cheaper. :D I also got a few things from the clearance section in Bay Trading as well. I hope this helps. :D

That would be really excellent with the college especially if you do not have to do any additional certificates to be able to do it so I hope that you get something sorted out there soon that fits around the more important things in your life. :D I think that he knows that I really only do what I am doing because I am just not brave enough to deal with my sister if I did not give it my all when attempting to sort my debts and my life out. :rotfl:

  • Sister is definately the driving force then? My gran was a bit like that, and i am too, but that's the older sister syndrome- it comes naturally:D

Yes she is definitely the driving force in this like she always seems to end up being in every bad situation that she comes across in her life although she always seems to find solutions to absolutely everything and manages to find something positive in it too. :D I have had a really good weekend despite having worked lots of hours and I really had to work hard at it too but it was really good fun and I had lots of laughs along the way as well. I am definitely going to keep this extra job on because it is casual and I get to choose what hours out of the ones offered to me that I am going to work which means that it will not impact on my day job and it will not interfere with my second job either which I absolutely would not give up for anything now. :D

  • That's really nice to hear, I have had a bit of a downer this weekend with Mr, bob and his little ways but all sorted now. Have been doing a good impersonation of a taxi driver today, so have been very busy. Finished off all cakes, just have to ice the last one for a 21st- my son in law(still feels weird saying that) andthen i can relax.
Hope Ellidee has a good holiday.Bobxx

I am so sorry to hear that you have been having a difficult time lately and I hope that things are starting to get better for you. :o Well done on finishing the cakes especially since you had so many to do and I am positive that everybody but especially your son in law will really love them. :D I did not know that Elidee is away on holiday and I too hope that she has a fabulous time and comes back feeling much better for it but hopefully not gloating too much about the glorious weather or I might just cry. :rotfl:
