How much do you charge?0 -
You've managed to raise £10464 in a week - that's a huge chunk of your debt
Even better as a few of your creditors will probably accept full and finals.
In addition to this, you've managed to increase your monthly income by £300
You're doing ever so well - I bet your sister is very proud of you.
My sister says she is very proud of me but then she says that to me no matter what.I just hope some of the creditors do accept full and final offers because it will leave me with more money to pay to the others. The only problem is that I will not be able to concentrate at work because I will be thinking about what might be arriving in the mail.

Union Fees - £16.00 Union Fees - £16.00
Registration Fees - £6.00 Registration Fees - £6.00
Through the week I have managed to sell my car and sell a lot of things on ebay which has given me £10,464 to pay to my creditors when it eventually clears and actually becomes my money. I know that this will only make a tiny dent in the amount outstanding but if it was not for the hangover from hell that I am currently experiencing I would really feel on top of the world with this achievement. Thank you for all the advice that I have already been given and all further suggestions are equally welcome.
Very well done on getting so much done already, CD.
Regarding letting your parents know that you've got rid of the car, why not tell them what you posted here - that you really don't need it on a day to day basis and it was only handy for trips to visit them. You can say that it's a bit of an experiment to see whether you really can do without it (and also going green) but that if you really miss having the car, you'll look into getting another one. Meanwhile, you'll visit them via public transport. No need to tell them you will be tracking down incredibly cheap train tickets via MSE.
Also, can I ask what your union and registration fees are for? Costs of belonging to a regulatory body and professional body are often tax deductible and you can claim for up to 6 years back payments. HTHHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Not very MSE! Shouldn't you be telling her how much you charge and whether she can get a discount or cashback if she goes via Quidco??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. They are my professional fees and I sadly already get the tax break on them but this seems to pale into the background every month by my tax code for repaying my Student Loans.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0 -

Tell your sister, my hair could do with some attention
Sorry I only just saw this but you may not want my sister anywhere near you because although she does hair and nails very well she does reflexology and always uses this as a method of testing out her counselling skills because she is half way through her course to get registered and sees anybody as fair game. :rotfl:Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0
