£261.62 saved this month ; seriously less than expected but we've booked and paid for a couple of holidays this month (and taken one of them!) So it should all average out over the year ok. I have had a perfect storm of bills this month, the costs (some expected, most not) just kept dropping on me (electrician, plumber, needed to buy a new fridge, computer has had problems, tax bill, insurance, tree surgeon, vet, among other things, you name it) but have managed to limp in with £173.10 savings to end up with £1,854.25 for the year so far. Seriously, I really thought I would be declaring nothing for this month and very probably going backwards so I'm pretty thrilled with that. I have some catching up to do in March, but it looks at the mo as though it will be a lot easier than Feb.0
