Just got a bit of good news in that my final bill from EON means we get £127.65 back by way of gas/electricity credit so not only do we get that but our new provider is charging us £40 less per month on our new fixed energy price deal. That plus my £150 switching bonus from First Direct bank means we should be better off by £277 in February. Hi all, NO 24 reporting with a small start to 2016 with £457.15. I have updated the sheet. Expensive month this month as my youngest son is off to Australia on Saturday for a possible 6 months to a year....really excited for him but apprehensive for him as well. £1200 this month, though my S&S ISA is going down day by day so it's probably less than that as I type!
It's been a heavyish month, offset by "free: council tax. I've paid a couple of hundred for a course, bought a new car battery and annual house insurance. The latter was £100, but I'm hoping for £40 cashback and £40 M&S vouchers so if they materialise that's a great bargain!Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:
