Now's good time to buy more of course, like you are doing.

I found it easy to work out what I'd saved when I was using a separate savings account. Now I keep it in my Current Account (Sant 123) because of the better interest so now I have to work out why I had in there on the day before payday one month and then tally that with what's in my account on payday of the next month. Slightly difficult when paydays flex (see previous post above!) but generally kinda works :-)0

Interesting approaches. I kind of know how much £££ I need to put away per month, so as soon as I get my pay (around the 24th or so) - I transfer it into my savings accounts (one is a H2B ISA this year). So, I'm basically spending after saving!#115 - Save £12k in 2019 challenge: £13152.85/29419.55 - 44%

Not going to update fully till the end of the month but January is going better than expected.
I'm freelance, so saving consistently is always swings and roundabouts. Was expecting to save £500 this month and will be able to from what I've earned so far.
I've got an unexpected extra week of work, which is great for January, as its usually the quietest month.
Should hopefully take me to nearer £1K for the month, just need to be frugal over the next couple of weeks to make sure!!
Love seeing all your updates, never done this challenge before, and checking the thread is definitely helping my motivation, thanks allSave £12K in 2019 #: £0.00 / £10,000 (0%)

How's it going everyone, while I am not speaking much, I am subscribed and when I wake up I look forward to reading everyone's updates, now for me, while this isn't a cold hard cash saving, and it will not be included in the title, I managed to save £250 on my car insurance! So previously my savings this month was looking a bit short, but I should be able to save a bit more now!
Good luck everyone! I will do my form at the end of the monthSave 12k in 2016 : #54 : £715.16 / £5,5000
