Today I managed a PAD and it is a NSD. Got soaked on the school run as it decided to chuck it down the second I stepped out of the door.
Tired now so off to bed

Hello,
Mother nerd- you sound like you have been a very busy bee! Furniture moving at 4am? As you do! Still sounds like you are doing lots of jobs and feeling good for it.
I've just come home from an overtime shift at work, I've worked out I've racked up about 25 hours over the last few weeks so that all looks good on the pay cheque for December! Means I can pay most of the other credit card off and still have enough left for last minute Christmas bits.
Found out yesterday my DSs pre school is shuttinghe goes to a school nursery already but has one session at pre school a week and stays for lunch then they take him yo nursery, means I have a day to do stuff in the house. I'm really sad for them because it's a lovely setting but also it saves me money paying for an extra session so that money can be used elsewhere.
We have started painting the extension now so that seems to be getting there but it's taken ages and I'm bored now, it's great on too long and I'm sick of builders not doing what they say they will, still what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and despite all the stress of it this whole experience has made me pretty tough as I have pretty much project managed the whole thing and dealt with all the tradesmen. Knew living next to a builders yard for 3 years when I was younger would pay off eventually.
Today was also a spend day as I needed to make a part payment to the builders, so because of that I bought the tickets for the Christmas experience for the children today, I will be able to claim some back afterwards so won't be out of pocket too much and was under for Christmas gifts thanks to voucher codes and ecodes.
Today I am grateful for -
1. The sun finally shining through the clouds today
2. My friend taking DD to school this morning.
3. Going to a nativity service with DS and my friend and her little boy today
4. My dad bringing round two bottles of prosecco for me.
Off to bed now because it's cold down here (as I have turned the heating off st night now) and I'm feeling a little tired now.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j

Fmess - yes I would be annoyed by the electrician, most tradesmen are like this though. I would ring someone else then take great pleasure in telling him the job was done when he finally turned up.
CCL - hope your medicine works.
Me and DH are doing a grocery shop tonight whilst the kids are at their respective activities. We don't need much more than the basics and fresh things thanks to our epic YS haul on Sunday.
DS got his first selection box last night, he was so pleased and can't stop looking at it. In a couple of weeks he will be sick of the sight of them.
DD has gone on a school trip to a castle today, I am very jealous as it is one of my favourite places to visit.
It is very windy and moody looking here - although obviously me being odd I absolutely love to see bare trees against a leaden sky. I will walk the dog and try to get out for a run later but work beckons now - and coffee.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning everyone
Bagged my third NSD yesterdaycan't think of anything I need today so will aim for my fourth
Morning shift at work today so bought my lunch in with me too
updated sig accordingly
Three things I am grateful for today:
1. I have the morning shift so I actually get the afternoon to myself
2. My mummy, it's Wednesday so dinner at mum's tonight, we've done this pretty much every week since I moved out 2 years ago and I love it
3. Work isn't playing tinny Christmas music through the tannoy this morningwe do have a children's choir in the foyer but they're quite good

Wow, you are all busy little bees, erm, turtles
Not much to report. Made onion chutney yesterday for the christmas hampers and now the house reeks of vinegar.
DD just had hand, foot and mouth. Now the nursery phoned saying she developed a rash on chest, back and face. I hope it's not chickenpox, although need to get it over with sometime. They'll keep her in for the time being.
Tried to keep DS in his own bed/put him back for about an hour and a half in the wee hours before giving up. Just bought him a new mattress (he only has a thin cheap foam one) to maybe make his bed more comfy. Got a £80 mattress for £14 as it was reduced and I had vouchers.
Better shoot again

Hi Turtles
GSRCAT - amazing amount of OT well done you!
Thrifty - so many little ones seem to have hand foot and mouth at the moment.
Chocolate - well done on your hat trick!
Just for me - great to see you on the PAD thread!
Mothernerd - your levels of activity are an incredible example to us all of what one motivated person can achieve when they set their mind to it.
Dolly - great day for a school trip. Especially an outdoor one. The weather is glorious here.
MissTara - well done keeping up the workouts
Fmess, Apple, CCL - hope you are all feeling a bit better today.
Well for me I have just hit 50% of my stretch target for the month with a £100 PAD. I have just had the increased Child benefit through due to the 2nd child so I had more to spare from that too. Feeling optimistic I may make it this month
Back later

Quick post from me.
Suffering with migraine/sore throat and just can't wait to go home. Blame lies with poorly gs who was a nightmare yesterday to look after, nearly joined in him a tantrum on my kitchen floor when his mummy got stuck in traffic and rang to say she would be late. Only got 1 hr of poorly lad today.
Today paid 30 off debts.
Balance transfer came through so now I need to work to clear 1st cc off before March.
Needed supplies milk, potatoes, fruit so somehow spent 12.00 plus some hair products needed to make my hair curly.
Nabbed a lovely picture frame from work with my bosses permission so that will go with the photo I was given the other day.
