UKCPS ticket for leaving retail park

A search on google can easily yield results, especially if the retail park has empty units going for lease/rentFrom the Plain Language Commission:

It's castle marina retail park in Nottingham. I did email some of the stores on the park and just got a useless reply. I will see if I can find out a bit more. Thanks0

I was in that car park on Saturday, it appeared to be ppc free due to a complete lack of visible signage. there's a footpath exit by currys over a wooden bridge over a canalFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Thats the one. Well i left the carpark near that point cos i always feed the ducks by the canal. That is when they have caught me leaving the site. It doesnt seem to matter to them if i returned or not to shop just that i left the carpark at that point. I wanted to go and have a look around some shops today for last minute christmas stocking fillers and stuff with my son but felt sick at the thought of going anywhere near this retail park. I dont think i can stomach the thought of shopping here again. So we went to netherfield retail park instead which has No parking restrictions as far as i can tell0 -
Try This; it suggests that's LaSalle Investment Managers

Thanks, had a look, not sure if i am contacting those who are just managing the leases of the shops.
Found an email for the main group of LaSalle, "contact at lasalle dot com". Might find someone who can help me.0 -

You should follow the usual process as outlined n the newbies thread for dealing with UKCPS, as well as a strong complaint to the landowner, LaSalle, you may want to ask them why their agent (UKCPS person ) didnt warn you about leaving the site, and if they are familiar with the VCS vs Ibotson court case and ruling.
When I visited there is a nice new shiny outdoors shop warehouse called Ultimate outdoors who as they are a new operation in a unit that previously held several other failed businesses ( including best buy ) would be very sensitive to any negative publicity - they have a facebook page. You could warn people not to use that shop as there is an aggressive private parking company operating on the site.
As previously mentioned, when I visited i thought this place was PPC free, there is a serious lack of signage, combined with the entrapment of the 'left site' type operation
As for leaving the site, there is a mothercare on site so its not unconceivable for parents/relatives to take a grotty child for a distraction walk to look at the ducks on the canal.
The place is called Castle Marina, so by its name its obvious that the waterway would be an attraction to that site - so after trudging round the shops why not take a coffee from Costa and relax for a few minutes by the canal watching the boats/ducks go by?
As for what lies beyond that, I've had a look and theres nothing worth leaving the site for. Its not even worth bothering with as a park your car there and catch the bus, especially as there is an excellent park and ride service a few minutes away at Queens drive.
On the subject of Queens Drive, UKCPS may start harping on about the Beavis case and from that I believe that the charges must not be be unconscionable with those charged by the local councils elsewhere.
If you park at the council operated and owned Queens drive and 'avoid' paying the bus fare (£3 a car load - up to 6 persons park as long as you like) the signs say you may be clamped and / or face a penalty of £25/ clamp removal fee £25 a sum that is no way near as much as any PPC would demand
As mentioned, Deal with UKCPS, complain to LaSelle asking/telling them to get their agents to cancel the ticket - and complain to the retailers on site in person if possible, and via facebook, you could even try the local paper - Nottingham Evening Post. The message you would be trying to get out is for people not to use this site and to avoid shopping at places such as ultimate outdoors while such an aggressive ticketing parking company is operating on site.
I may be back in the Nottingham area in a few weeks/a month or soFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Thank you for posting about your experience on this site. I have never used this site before and I only found it after Googling about Castle Marina Retail Park Parking Charges when I received a Parking Charge Notice on 27th December 2015 for doing exactly the same thing. I drive a company car so my options may be slightly different.
I have no intention of paying this unfair and unacceptable charge and your posts and those who have contributed to it so far will help me formulate my arguments and take the next step.0 -
