Hi, I'm a bit late to the party with it being Tuesday afternoon but I'd love to re-join again please.

A lot has happened since I was last on here - DH has a new job which means he works away all week but it actually means in some ways I see more of him as he was out so much with Parish Council / Explorers / Scouts groups we get to have him home all weekend long!

My mental health took a real hammering but I am really starting to come out of the other side now - yes I still get 'blips' but take them as what they are - it doesn't mean I'm going back to where I was. I never want to get that ill again. I've also stopped my typing job as it was consuming all day and now DH has a new job we're OK for money so this frees me up a lot and taken the pressure right off me.

I am so sorry but really don't know what is going on with all you guys so sending lots of hugs, sticks, spoons etc to all of you.

As for flying I've done the kitchen worktops, shone my sink, washed up, cleaned window sills - back in for second round in a minute.

    Welcome Home Mumof2 :hello:

I am officially !!!!!! Off. Having persuaded Mr LW that we didn't need to get a new tv just now, what happened last night while he was doing his WiiFit?? Yep, that's right, the tv died. As in deceased. Brown bread. It is an ex-tv.

And of course, he was on the pc like greased lightning to order a replacement - of course, he'd done all the research the other day, and I hadn't realised he'd narrowed it down to just a couple to choose from. SO he's like: "Wolfy, which one shall we have?" And I'm like: *growl* "Don't care. If it was down to me, we wouldn't bother. Just keep it to a sensible size, the Idiot Box occupies the corner, it does NOT swamp the whole lounge." *growl, growl*

Anyways, long story short, he chose one, (thankfully only a 24" one), ordered it online, - and Ah Gosh delivered it at 08:15 this morning!

Normally I pay half towards anything for the house, but I am not offering this time - is that mean of me?:D

I guess this evening will be spent playing with his New Toy.

I'm in, thanks for the list natty. Is probably a bit late to say that on Tuesday afternoon. Yesterday was a write off as was on a course in Manchester so out all day, have contracted a cold from Dd1, so nothing got done when I got home except lying on sofa. Got up this morning and spilled a glass of milk all over my freshly changed bed. Grrrrrrr. Got back from paid stuff to find a big dog plop in middle of rug in living room. Why? She never ever does this. So have cleaned it all up thoroughly and now that bit is much cleaner than the rest.
    Arghhhh.

Just going to do gentle daily stuff now. Will tackle some stuff off the lists tomorrow.

CY hope those feet are still up.
LW look on the bright side, the size of TV is very restrained. I think my OH was thinking of something not out of place at a cinema. He was certainly talking of the need to move furniture around!

OH bought a 55inch tv last christmas... it is the same size as the average 10 year old... I shall stop there!

pre-op was a waste of time.. op to be rescheduled to some point in the distant 'well I may be dead by then' future.. I knew it was a waste of time when I even made the first appointment.. I'm not a happy bunny.. and I am utterly exhausted and drained and need sleep. they weren't impressed when I almost fainted in their office due to the extreme heat!

My fixified taplops are coming home tomorrow.. they've been on holiday at the taplop spa for 3.5 weeks.

    2x WM
    2x TD

I need an accounts online thing sorted to email and a sales projection forecast thing doing.. tonight.. I can talk the talk but the attentio required to put it in a graph is more than I can handle!

  • Hair appt this morning was ok, what I normally have, work erm interesting, mils hospital ended in tears which surprised me as they have said they are going to do a scan and get her to see a neurologist to try and find problem. I thought we'd get told sorry no can fix. Mil seemed to think some kind of magic wand would be waved that would have her walking, in fact she got upset because in her words to the dr she expected to be dancing at Christmas - I have never known mil to dance in fact I've never known her to walk if transport is available.
Going to fix food for the boys leap in the bath and get ready, got free tix to see 45 years tonight.
I will be good and fly tomorrow.

Oh Gosh LW- that really made me laugh :rotfl: thanks for that. Think it even funnier that it sounds just like DH and me - I swear he would leave the house if I didn't let him have a tv :)

So no I don't think you're being mean not to pay towards it ;)
