hi how do i get involved with the christmas card exchange0

Thanks from me as well for the email Iona, also trying to think of something nice here.
Spending the morning listening to positive songs for negative people, found on YouTube I don't feel too guilty for listening off there as the boys have every song he's ever recorded on cd and vinyl so it's not like I'm stealing off him really. Or is it ok to do that?
Love them all but song for josh really makes me cry, but if it stops anyone else doing the same thing it's worth getting that message out there.
Choir ruffs are almost finished just feeding elastic through now then I better sweep the lounge as it looks a mess of cotton ends.
Coffee time if anyone wants to join me.SPC~12 ot 124

Resisted getting out of nice warm bed for longer than I intended (good book) so missed gym class, which I'm pretty peeved about. Rushing around doing penance:
DW on
some Xmas cards/letters written
Bird bath/water de-iced
3 red flagged emails dealt with
Clothes picked up off bedroom floor
About to put wm on and will make a coffee while I'm down there BUT will drink it while writing a report.
Hope nobody else is as slothful as me (apart from those who have good reason like sickness).Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
I'm in again, thank you. Managed good amount of flying on Monday and Tuesday, and caught four mice, so a good week
Am I right in thinking that the rooms are on different days each week? If so, can I say that is brilliant, because there are days when I never get to clean, so those rooms would always get missed if they were on set days.
Thanks again, hope you have a good week allGo to the ant, thou sluggard0 -
Today I will try and get our coats, hats and scarves and gloves sorted out, now it's finally decided to be a bit chilly. It's no joke trying to find 30 items of clothing before we can leave the house (for me and 5 kids!) :eek:Go to the ant, thou sluggard0

DW emptied
Soup in thermal bag
Showered and dressed
Flights booked
Need to book taxis and chase taxi billing from last two trips (anyone would think they didn't want their money). Book spa day with friend (although at the rate she is going we won't get in as we're supposed to be going on Wednesday and she takes days to respond to each question and only answers it partially). Also need to book waxing. And chimney sweep. So need to finish the bit of work I'm doing, go for a walk and then spend some time on the phone!0 -

Morning all. Safely back home after the scan. For the third time in a row I didn't get the side effects - I am seriously grateful.
Feet up now.

And so they should be! Glad you're OK.
Narc0, after a late night (or, rather, early morning) conversation vie FB I didn't wake up until 8.30 and have achieved very little this morningGoing to make :coffee: and then get out in the garden for an hour to see if it clears my head.

Thanks for the new thread Natty,
CY Glad the scan went well, rest up and absorb all the good wishes that are sent from this thread x
Nicki I like the sound of your Christmas window.
I'm feeling a lot better than this time last week. I spent most of last week pottering about the house and it doesn't look to bad for it. Today I've changed my bed and put the electric blanket on. Our bedroom is above the garage and it gets rather cold. Washing machine is on it's 2nd load. I need to have a think about what to cook for dinner.
I've taken my car in for a service and they have given me an electric car. It's very different! I went with a good friend and it's her birthday so we nipped in to a local coffee shop and had a late breakfast. I came back and walked muttley, very muddy in the woods.
My lovely FIL is going for a scan today. He had a nasty lump removed from his head and they know it's not the primary site. This scan is to find out where to target. He is remarkably well and the previous MRI didn't show anything so it's the radioactive one this time.0
