I'm in for the week and thank you Natty for this week's thread and thank you Bossy for last week's

Just had a quick run through catch-up for last week.

Hope all goes well for you the morrow CY and they don't make you wait around too long

My freezer eventually arrived on Saturday afternoon :T So, having switched it on last night, I had to go spending to stock up on some food stuffs.


My list to do (no particular order)
Sort out the freezers back to some semblance of order
Clear out and re-sort bottom kitchen cupboards
Deep clean spare room
DS coming for a few days so get out bedding and make up sofa bed
Buy and write 'C' cards
Buy DS birthday card
Buy secret santa pressie, wrap and post
Get nails done
Dentist on Wednesday
Phone step daughter re Sunday
Get back to Spanish lessons
Sort tax
Finish clearing balcony boxes
Finish planting bulbs
Winter tidy and ready balcony


Monday ~ Lovely Living Room and Happy Hall
15 minutes...
Declutter all these areas
Vacuum these areas
30 minutes to spare...
Wipe/vacuum sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
Got an hour...
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, should the magazines really be on the floor?
Wash any soft furnishings in need

Extra Mission Tasks~ if you want to do more

Check you have your Christmas card list done, if it's not done at least spend 10 minutes on it

Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself
Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!

Thanks Natty I'm in as much as possible.

I want to make a start on my Christmas window this week. DD has requested I do muppets christmas carol as the theme so it's going to take a bit longer than usual, plus I'm hoping something I'm going to try will stop the paint running/cracking like it did with the halloween window I did. I need this paint to stay until New Year not just a couple of days! I'm going to do a tester spot tomorrow to see if it'll work or not. I also need to work out how I'm going to include the little things the kids like finding, like Father Christmas and his 8 reindeer (The kids count them, I have to make sure there's 8!:rotfl:), the snowmen and robins. I'm thinking a big tree with decorations on it may be the way to go.

Paid stuff this week is scattered again, I have a delivery to make Monday, then books to collect on Thursday. Lots of admin to do as well, but I'm thinking a lot of that can wait until DD goes away at New Year when my to do list for the house/christmas is a lot smaller and I'm looking for things to do to avoid eating everything in sight

I am awake. Taxi in an hour. Trying to avoid going downstairs as I can't have anything to eat until after the scan...

Just nipped up school, first sample ruff is fine so will have mini production line going this morning and get the others done before I head off to work.
Gained an extra 1/2days paid work for next week while I was up there.

I am still snotting and grotting, I've spent half the night coughing, every time I move it dislodged some slime and I was off again. I still feel pretty bleurgh anyway.. It is OH's fault he just coughs and snots germies everywhere.. ggrrrrr... I need a taser lmao


The gremlins were up about 5 .. so had breakfast then it came to school time and they were starving so they've been packed off with bread and jam! All icy out there so hats placed on noggins!

I need to rejig some washing as no one has dry pjs's for tonight and the I am getting in the front room and sorting toys and stripping a wall.. it is getting decorated one wall at a time because there it that much stuff in there I cannot manage it any other way.. I WILL have it sort before my tree goes up next weekend.. or the weekend after most probably.. This week I am finishing a shawl for an order and making a start on wrapping.. loads to get through and I will have it all done well in advance I am not going to bed 15 minutes after the girls wake up on Christmas eve. We are doing Scandinavian Christmas again with presents on Christmas eve so I can have a day off to recover before my family descend on boxing day and then another day off before we go to OH's mums on the 28th.. assuming no one is drunk or stoned of course.. and the second anyone thinks about it, we're coming home! .. we might be there 10 minutes lol
