Pigpen I'm tired out just looking at and hearing all you've done! Hope your UTI eases up soon.
Narc0lepsy do you assess people for dyslexia etc then - hope you don't mind me asking. We are getting S assessed and have been told it'll be about February time. He has very strong dyslexic traits and we think he is dyslexic as my husband is plus lots of his siblings and nephews/nieces. S is struggling with maths especially the times table and it's so hard to see him upset. I'm hoping the assessment will give us some good ideas how to help him.
Had hard evening as Z came downstairs at about 10 last night shaking, in tears and on the phone to her cousin - she had a full blown panic attack, poor love. I helped her with her breathing as she was almost hyper ventilating, talked to her and then she lay on the sofa with me and Whiz Whippet until she calmed down some more. We talked a lot and she ended up sleeping with me last night and seems much brighter this morning. Luckily she's already booked in to see the pupil counsellor this morning first thing so she can talk to her as well.
Taking J's uncle to the Drs this morning then back to clean the bathroom etc as per the list. Agility with Whiz after lunch and then need to wrap Z's presents as she'll be 13 tomorrow.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Morning all.
GWS pigpen. Loving the LR transformation! Glad to hear that OH is doing a bit of painting too.
Hope your DD is feeling better this morning, Mumof2.
CY, enjoy your guided tour of your DD's new home - the first visit of many, no doubt
Am I right in thinking that it's only one more sleep before your visitor arrives, LW? :j
Yesterday came and went as expected. The courses both went well
Today:
- re-pack and put away resource box from yesterday
- tidy study
- make hair appointment
- out to vol job place for 10.00 talk on some of the art works there
- cook main meal at lunchtime
- wrap up puddings and store in fridge or freezer, apart from the little one that I'm sending to Germany with the friend who helped stir them
- eyebrows appointment (maybe hair too, if I'm lucky)
- finish writing first batch of cards
- early tea, then shopping (I've got 2 click-and-collect orders to pick up) before...
- ...choral society rehearsal this evening in the venue for Saturday's concert, with a steeply stepped stage for which one needs the skill of a mountain goat and the legs of a giraffe
Any other achievements will be a bonus
Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round as needed x0 -
Morning all
Hugs to all that need them
Pigpen get some rest!!! You are putting the rest of us to shame. It tires me out reading what you do.
Mumoftwo hope your poor dd is feeling a lot better this morning.
Dh has just gone off to the dentist to have a tooth out I'm hoping it goes well. The roots are twisted around the next tooth so our dentist referred him to a specialist. Thinking it will be ouch!
Ds1 has a toenail removal this afternoon, he worked late last night after they said he could make the time up he'll be taking off today. Guessing he'll be rough later with 4 hours sleep last night, he's already left for this mornings shift.
Just rung my sis to wish her happy birthday and she's got a smear booked ( nice birthday treat) and nephew has an hospital appt so it's a medical day for my family. I'm going to work so told them to text if I'm needed.
Will catch up later between playing Florence nightingale to the menfolk.
Have a good day allSPC~12 ot 124

Morning all!
Sorry not caught up properly on the thread (interruptions a plenty again!) so hugs, spoons, vibes and sticks to all
I didn't get the ironing done yesterday as I was feeling so rough for most of the day, but DD has declared that since she's wearing her jumper to school the blouses don't need ironing (they're non-iron ones anyway) because 1 you can't see them and 2 they get creased like crazy due to the jumper and blazer and coat combination. Her PE kit apparently gets scrunched up in her bag anyway so she hung the stuff up and went off to school this morning with it un-ironed.
I did pay the bills, update my finances, reconciled my personal account, S&S the kitchen, cook 2 gammon joints in the SC (one of which we ate for tea!), dealt with laundry I'd forgotten in the TD and got my email inbox down to 20 emails! Not much else was achieved as I'm trying to wind down of an evening (except ones where I'm working) so I can get to sleep earlier...yet I still saw 2am this morning which meant sleeping in until 7.30 again when I'm supposed to be getting up at 6am
Today is paid stuff for the majority of the day. I work this morning, then do admin this afternoon, then work again this evening. It could prove interesting as I've woken up feeling rougher than yesterdaySo, pain meds taken, and I'm off for a shower in a few minutes when I've cleared the 20ish emails which have arrived over night (should be a case of just deleting them I think).
I have checked online for sales and one of the DVDs DD has asked for for Christmas is listed as an upcoming daily deal so I've whacked a A5 bright yellow sticky note on the wall above my desk to remind me of the time it goes on sale. I just hope I get it as I'm seeing if I can get her gifts for under £100 this year (but I've budgeted £150 including her main one) So far I've spent £14.84 and she's nearly done
:money: If I don't get it, then she's more than happy to have 2nd hand versions (I did ask
) and I know I can get it easy enough that way.
I best get moving so I can get out to work. Really really hoping everyone has left books out for me this morning so I have minimal work to do tonight! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
