  • CY I've got that as a pin on my just makes me smile board.

Tearing my hair out all night wondering why I hadn't heard from ds1, just get a text he's working till midnight and only just gone on a break to let me know. He can't have a phone with him at work because of what he does so they have to be in lockers till breaks. Thought they'd let them have an extra break to inform people. grr food is now in the microwave awaiting nuking when he gets home.

  • Oh blimey I can always rely on you lot to cheer me up. Pigpen it would need the equivalent of 10 blokes to deal with the stuff you have going on on a regular basis.

And CY that made me laugh, never heard that one before. Even the dog here is male so I am completely outnumbered. They do know that they wouldnt survive for 5 minutes without me.

Mrs MP it doesnt get any easier once they are grown up does it?

Have been to my gym class, always makes me feel better. Scrubbed the plaster off the bathroom floor and just having a sit down before I head off to bed. Night all x

So.. I went to sort some toys...

    Only a small pile..

And I got to the corner.. and the skirtings were filthy... so.. I scrubbed them... but the corner of the wallpaper curled up... and that distressed me... so I ripped it off...

    12249912_10153755911883518_5121706359409847594_n.jpg?oh=18e24593a43e61230f9fbafb4e0e405b&oe=56EE5955

and painted the edges.. with my wittle brooosh... and vacuumed the fluff... and them I realised my industrial vacuum has a massively powerful exhaust.. so.. I angled that to blow ALL the fluff out of the radiator... why had I never figured that out before?? It was AMAZING... it was snowing fluff!!!! Loved it.. made me wheeze mind ;)

But the corner now looks beeeeeaaauuutiful...

But... in the process of making a beautiful corner I have exposed a naked breast...

the toys however... are still in the middle of the floor in a jumbled mountain...

PIgpen no wonder you are tired; I'm tired just reading it.
And talking of tired, I had another day of 2 assessments to do and the first one was a nice lad but it will be a very difficult report to write. Luckily the afternoon one was a nice easy dyslexic one. I was going to offer to do more doubling up before Xmas, but I'm not going to as a) it's too tiring and b) the traffic is terrible if I have to be there before about 10am.

Rather bemused that when I checked emails early this am, there was one to say my new printer would be here on Friday and gave me the "tracker" link so I can check the time. When Mr N got home at 4.30 this afternoon it was on the front doorstep, not even wrapped; glaringly obvious what it was to all passers-by. Too tired to set it up this eve as we slobbed out with a film then I've been getting stuff ready for tomorrow's assessment which looks to be just dyspraxia. And just one student at 11am so no battling with traffic.

Very sad to report that last night I heard the snap trap go, and it was a tiny cute shrew. I didn't know we had them around.

Probably more than half way through writing cards now, and more presents arriving on Friday (or whenever they feel like it). For those of you I encouraged to join the Big Give last year, the donation-matching is only on 2 days this Christmas; the 4th and 5th Dec which is a nuisance as I'll be away and hadn't planned to take a laptop with me and for no particular reason, I'm more nervous about doing financial stuff on the tablet.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

OH painted the kitchen radiator too.. and did 3 school runs.

I did 3 runs through the DW, a WM load, a TD load, swept the kitchen, put away 4 boxes of stuff, cleared the toys from the hallway, cleared the table, spent 45 minutes on the phone..

I also have developed a UTI on top of this infernal cough.. DRs tomorrow if the UTI doesn't abate overnight.
