Managed to add another £2 (all helps!) so now £560/£732 for me.
I have a new plan for this pot of money though. I've been buying bits and pieces towards Christmas already and think I am almost done with present buying, which is amazing. So, my plan is to use some of this money for the extras we all like to have at Christmas, and use the rest in the January sales to start the present pile off at bargain basement prices.
I've already got things like crackers, wrapping paper, ribbons and bows etc (all bought last January in the sales at 80% discount). So I am hoping I will only need to dip into this pot for the extra niceties for food - and to be honest with that we are away from home for Christmas and Boxing Day so I will go shopping and buy the food niceties in the sale as wellDFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
Hi all, I have had some nice treats from Body Shop and Paperchase in the form of £5 vouchers for my birthday - and have used these to begin present-buying, I got my friend's 7-year -old daughter something from the Purrmaids range at Paperchase....the design is kittens with mermaid tails lolol ! I know ridiculous but it is a very cute design.Hope to add some more items as I go along (they do notebooks, stickers, pencil cases etc etc)£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[
