  • good morning all. I have paid off the money I put onto Barclaycard. All 3 debts now cleared in full. Even overpaid M&S by a penny. I donated it to charity :rotfl: . I wonder what they would have said if I had asked them to return it to me lol. Good luck to everyone else and I will keep popping in to see how you are all doing. xx

I'm making slow but steady progress with my debt repayments but I don't know if I'll clear them by Christmas. Have a few things to sell on Ebay but just bid and won a treadmill for my & OH joint Christmas present £220! It is £699 in Argos though, so a bit of a bargain and we wont be buying anything else for each other for Christmas and as we are exercising we should be eating less rubbish & takeaways - thats what I keep telling myself anyway. Im doing quite well with £10 a day challenge so will throw all that at the debts.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Well done millionaire! Good work.

I have so many bills going out in the next few weeks that I don't know if I'll finish the challenge:

    MOT and repairs
    Car Tax
    Car Insurance

I've got some money put aside, fingers crossed my car doesn't cost a fortune.

I have just paid off £200 from CC no. 1, but otherwise last month wasn't good as we had bills to pay for maintenance on the house and some (minor) car trouble. Have changed my sig, and I'm really glad that the totals are going down, but wish it was faster! I think Christmas is going to really put the brakes on my moneysaving efforts though. How do the rest of you cope with it? Will you carry on with this challenge up until Christmas?

I am hoping to pay these 3 off by Christmas have a little break over the hoildays and pay the minimums on my debts and then start again January. I have got something ridiculous like 10 cards with less than £1000 on them so would love to be able to clear these as quick as poss so I can work on the massive ones.

We need another challenge for Jan though definately to keep me on the straight and narrow! (and away from the Jan sales) x x
