I am still here and will be till Christmas 08 at this rate! Have paid off a fair bit but fallen behind recently. Only got £156.00 left on the Dotty P card and have paid a bit off the others. I have got my first Mystery Shop tomorrow and all money will be going towards this.

    Keep going everyone! x

I have only been doing the challenge a week or so but am slowly getting there. I sold a couple of items on Amazon and ebay today totalling £28.00. At least it is £28.00 I didn't have earlier. If I throw it at the sofa debt it only leaves 30.00 to pay.....Feels good :D if I don't think about other debts

  • I'm still going! Arguing with Halifax on my cc PPI - I genuinely was missold the policy which was stuff all use to me at the worst time in my life..............and I paid nearly £2K for it  I have asked for it back as it really has been the biggest mistake they have ever made if they think I'm not going to take this all the way to court to get it resolved (and that includes showing the court the 'application form' they sent me which wasn't even in my handwriting so I'm interested as to who cobbled that together and when) - getting something back from them would make a dent in my outstanding debts.

Capital One I'm going to put £50 in this month (bit tight due to new car tyres and I'm keeping a bit back because of the engine warning light which came on for a day last week but has since went off - better to have some spare cash just in case!).
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
  • Really struggling with this challenge this month. Due to mistakes made by the children's nursery we are 1000pound down  before we even start this month! Not happy. Hopefully we should get some back next week so I'll be able to pay some off. Not impressed though! May have to put food and petrol on the evil credit card if they don't sort it out soon! Start doing some overtime in 10 days too so that should help but won't get paid for it until December but should still come in in time to put it towards this challenge.
