Clear 3 Debts By Christmas Challenge!!

Hallo Everyone
I sat and read through this thread this afternoon and would like to say thank you to you all. After months of putting it off it gave me the push I needed to start listing some stuff on ebay, Amazon and Green metropolis to be used to pay for christmas.
I have always been a bit useless at the challenges with work always getting in the way, but I have just left my old job:j for pastures new and feel its time to really start hitting those debts. So if its ok I would like to join this one late. My three debts I need to pay of first are:
Sofa payments 58.48
Comet 102.34
Amex 621.29DFW Nerd no 546
Official 10k New Years Resolution

Oh dear, I don't seem to be doing too well this month. The main problem being that I decided I really needed to buy some clothes for work this winter. So instead of paying off, I have been spending! I did use my debit card, but we have also just had to pay for some work on the house, so all in all I don't think I will have anything spare to put towards the credit cards this month. I was also hoping to get rid of the overdraft altogether, but that looks unlikely. The good news is that I have not dipped into the car fund (we put £120 each month towards the MOT and service for two cars in March/April) whereas earlier this year I was clawing that back every month to stop us going more overdrawn.
I have been doing some extra freelance work, but I have to do it as and when I can fit it in, so don't really know when I will get paid for it, but hopefully before Christmas. (Let's not even think about Christmas...)
I wish I had the time to do Ebay, then I could kill two birds with one stone, and get rid of some of the junk that's cluttering up the cupboards!:rotfl:
How do you all fit it in?
Good luck everyone, especially the newcomers, keep posting, you are all inspiring.

:jMoney cleared today for computer so now have credit balance of £45! DH gets paid on Monday so should be all straight in the account.
I'm not going to be able to clear the gas and elec bills for a few weeks as dd's birthday is soon and we are getting her a bike and doing a little party (cheap and bike through Quidco). So they will have to wait, as well as needing some repairs on the car before the MOT.
So at least we're in the black again, budget budget budget, that's what I need to do.0 -
evab the challenge is until Christmas anyway. My ds has his birthday in December which is a nightmare as well. I have talked him into a small party in the house so I should be able to do that nice and cheaply. I have put some stuff on e-bay today and on Amazon so hopefully will get some extra for paying off m&s. Not much to go and then it will be credit union with all guns blazing.xx5 Year plan.
