  • Thanks Scubaleopard for the tip about getting back to sleep. I'll try that one!
  • Good Morning all!

NOt sure what's happening here today except that DH is going scrumping with teh kid next door - there's a derelict orchard down the road he's been going to get fruit - he's used up all his mum's jam jars, and his friends used HIS mum's jars, so they went to the opnly charity shop in town for more jars; looked at what there was (all at 10p each) and said 'we'll take the lot!' lady in the store wasn't sure WHY two 14 year-olds would want jam jars and wouldn't sell them until they explained what they were going to do with them!

And I need to find a top for the dinner + play in London Monday night. If I don't have one that fits; I'm going to have to buy one.......

Have taken a pork fillet out for dinner; going to have to decide what I want to do with it; S+S pork, maybe?? Will decide later!

(((HUGS))) to anyone who needs one....

    Morning All

The weather is looking pretty miserable here in West Lancs today. Fortunately I only have enough washing for a load and that can wait as its bath mats etc. I need to go to Ormskirk later to the market and get my supply of meat for the next month. I dont need much really so I hoping that it won't be to expensive and I will have enough left over for a nice piece of cheese off the cheese stall. I'm hoping to encourage DH to start tidying the garage but I'm thinking it's proberbly going to be a uphill battle.

    Have a good day everyone

    Good morning everyone.

Penny, you look lovely on that picture.

I'm feeling good. The post natal depression has gone and left me feeling strong and happy. I'm now trying to organise myself into some kind of sensible routine with the housework, cooking and making sure the kids both get plenty of one to one time with me. Haven't a clue how to do it so I started a thread! Feeling generally optimistic about it though - it's a lovely problem to have really!

I'm well enough to get stuck in to the weight loss too. Realistic figure is 3 stone to come off but if I lose 4 I'll be a very happy bunny. I'm giving myself a year...

I hope you all have a good bankholiday weekend. x

I meant to say - I kitted out my toddler with his 'school' uniform incredibly cheaply in Matalan. Well worth a look if you're near one. (His nursery has a voluntary uniform similar to the local primary.)

    Morning all!

It's gorgeous outside and I'm trying to decide what to wear today! I'm popping to the city (Brighton) to 'do lunch' and spend some of my vouchers (and prob pick up a couple of Primark bits for my new job). I'm getting the bus in and know it'll be quite busy today, but I'm sure it'll be fun nonetheless.

Not much OSing done today, might pop to the tip after I'm back (then to Mr Ts to pick up a chicken!), otherwise that'll be done tomorrow before we go to visit Mum before her op. She has asked for no flowers (she'll get loads anyway) and wants M&S vouchers instead so she can get some of their soft bras, so I've got her £5 worth and will get a lovely card for her.

Right, I'd better get ready-gonna try and find the vest top I want to wear today, then it's breakfast and walking to get the bus-lunch wise we might go to my fave little cafe... I'm craving one of their avacado and bacon on toasted brown bread sandwiches-their food is divine and a fab price too.

    Have a good Saturday!

Hugs to those who need/want xx

Beautiful and sunny here today now the mist as gone which is brilliant news as we have our party today - thats why I didnt post yesterday - too busy. Have cleaned kitchen this morning and just need to hoover stairs later when everybody's up. Im down the hairdressers this morning for a quick trim and blowdry whilst OH goes to Asda to pick up the last bits.

Am doing a buffet with burgers and sausages on the barbeque to top up. Also we will be having the chocolate fountain out later. Havnt actually got too much cooking to do just putting stuff together.

No time to hang around - have a wonderful day.
