Cleaned the dining room yesterday and treated the table to two coats of scratch cover which my mum bought from Wilk0. It had made a difference!

Pegged out washing and ironed it; have bedding on the line today.

Bossy your little tree is so cute!:o

I'm afraid crochet is one thing I've never got my head around; I rather suspect it's something I'd need to do left-handed (I can do most things with either hand, with the notable exceptions of ironing and using a computer mouse). Plus I don't really have time to muck about with yet another craft project, I don't progress very quickly with the ones I've got started.

Mr LW is currently doing his ironing - he's back to work tomorrow.:(

He's also decided to ditch a shirt he never wears (it's two-tone black and dark blue, and he simply doesn't like it) so I've snaffled it, and it's now neatly folded in my blouse drawer.;)

Must get off my butt and crack on with the baking - as detailed in my post yesterday. I've set the BM in motion, but I need to get on and do the rest.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • just dropping in to say hi. Mum and sis have spent two nights up here and have now headed back south. They dragged me over to the hotel yesterday and we did lunch and I managed a swim in their very lovely pool.

They have dropped off the C presents (eek) and DD2's birthday presents. And mum made a great show off giving DD2 some stuff for her house - all of it free from catalogues. DD2 did a good job of saying thank you for stuff that she will probably never use....

Won't be around tomorrow morning as I have to leave at sparrows cough to go to the hospital for stupid o'clock to drink some foul tasting stuff before a CT scan. Looking forward to it being over, iyswim, especially as there are potential side effects....

I can't crochet either or at least I've never given it a go. A friend suggested it this week, but my current challenge is to learn a song on the piano to play on Christmas Day...mmmm...

    Update:

    [STRIKE]Wash up the breakfast dishes[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Go on the rebounder[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Have a bath[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Get the washing up to date[/STRIKE]

Make celery soup as I have so much to harvest in the garden - waiting for DH to bring red onions home
[STRIKE]Clean pots (garden type)[/STRIKE] - moved to shed to clean as required.
Sort out clothes in my wardrobe
    [STRIKE]Do shredding[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Kitchen bin emptied
    Recycling put out
    Lunch had and dishes washed.[/STRIKE]

I'd better get on with sorting clothes then.

    Kids' room done.
    Kitchen and utility floors done.
Went to see a friend, went for a walk, had lunch.
Shopping on the way home (hate shopping nearly as much as packing), which has sorted quite a few presents for friends' kids.
Forgot to buy a new kettle (would have involved going to another shop...)

Trying to decide whether to swim tonight, or whether I need to let snot levels drop a bit first... haven't done any of the outside stuff (clearing the stream, mowing the grass or chopping kindling). May get some more logs in after I've had a cup of tea... then carry on with inside clearing up and cleaning.

Ooops I seem to have lost nearly 4 hours in the garden. I love being outside in winter.

Washing in, not sure if it is just cold or still damp, need the maidens for the second wash which I will sort now whilst making a cuppa then Im making a cake, cooking dinner and ironing oh and I must do an hour's governing stuff at some point today too.
