Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

I wonder if there a fund or something similar set up to help the people involved?0

Terrible scenes. I used to live in the 10th Arrondissement where some of this took place and have friends in Paris.
These attacks are weak and cowardly. A strong army attacks another army, a weak one attacks unarmed civilians. It doesn't take strength or power to fight with an AK-47 against a couple having dinner and then kill yourself when the police turn up.
I sincerely hope the French police find the 'people' that are the bosses of these cowards. The people that are so cowardly that they can't even shoot someone watching a rock concert or having dinner, they can only tell other people to do it.0 -
Terrible news. I will be very interested to see in the coming weeks who the terrorists are and if they were home grown or had recently come to France.......0

It feels like a game changer this one, but time will tell. This is a generational struggle and I'm glad hollande is talking about this being a war, it most certainly is. I'm glad the Islamo-fascists hate us, they wouldn't be worthy of the name if they didn't. With the animals responsible for these attacks, it's a case of they'll like you when you win.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0

Spend some time in Normandy. Then you'll realise what people gave for our freedom today. I would recommend the the Memorial de Coudehard–Montormel Polish museum on Hill 262 overlooking the Falais Gap. Then you'll gain an understanding of what bravery actually is. How brutal war can be. Brainwashed kids gunning unarmed civilians is cowardly and in no way brave. Nor does it advance any cause that is worthwhile. If anything the reverse. Simply will increase peoples resolve to stand firm.0 -

I see that one of the attackers had a Syrian passport, so looks like they may have entered the country for the attack?
If so then this needs to be the biggest wake up call for our leaders. The killings are no longer in some far flung country, but on our doorstep. Surely this must spark realisation that unhindered travel in Europe must be consigned to history, and quickly??0 -

I was wondering about the role of these 'horse whisperers'.
In a neutral sense, it doesn't matter whether they are radical clerics or skillful Western politicians suggesting we can wage a "war on terror".
Regardless, it's the young kid attending a rock concert or a Syrian family losing their parents or a poorly paid squaddie losing his limbs to an IED, these are the victims.
It's not always clear who the perpetrators are, but it's more obvious to see who the victims will be.0 -

As to the cowardly bosses of ISIS as you refer to - and since when did we see our leaders fighting a war from the front themselves?
The queen sent her very own grandson to war and to be fair every member of the royal family and cabinet are are continually on a Hit list. Paris is a reminder to us all that the battlefield is now everywhere.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0
