Killing unarmed civilians dining out at a restaurant is "brave"?
What an abhorrent viewpoint.Every generation blames the one before...

With the animals responsible for these attacks, it's a case of they'll like you when you win.
Please – don't compare them to any animals. They are filth and need to be eradicated from the face of the Earth. In the meantime, Europe needs to secure its borders and must not allow anyone else in from the Middle East and Africa, unless they are very securely vetted and have legitimate business in Europe. Some individual countries who have become used to invasions over the centuries have wisely done this already. I'm afraid PC and 'liberal values' are not something that these barbarians have, and they must be dealt with in a way that will match their own level of barbarity. If this doesn't happen, this situation will get even worse for Europe and will ultimately require much harsher measures. Enough is enough.
And come on Putin…0 -

There is nothing brave about what they do, they have been lead to believe these actions will benefit them in some way, in this life or the 'next' - Its selfish if anything, they think that these actions will give them something in return
Theres nothing brave about sneaking up on people, people that have no politcal agenda in the slightest. The people they killed could have actually been supporters of their cause, they have no idea who they killed
If they were truly brave, they would tackle their true enemy, the political establishment that make the decisions that affect them, but of course they're too weak and pathetic to put up a proper fight, just like the school bully that picks on the scrawny kids, but wont take on the rugby team0 -
I see that one of the attackers had a Syrian passport, so looks like they may have entered the country for the attack?
Aye, you've got to be pretty blind not to have seen this coming. Bombs going off all over Germany next and lots of people will say 'I told you so'.
Interesting that no-one's really commented on yesterday's propaganda victory being totally buried within hours by this news.0 -

Your comment is a cheap and nasty as the post you were commenting on
We (the west) need to take on people like IS. It was true at the time of 9/11 and 7/7 and is still true. To call this war is to give it credibility it does not deserve. Drone attacks are a necessary evil, but we cannot expect the organisations who we attack not to respond. We must make their task as difficult as we can.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

I think any armed insurgency that can bring mass slaughter to a European city has 'credibility' as a force, which is the only way we should judge any credibility they may or may not have.
I'm with the French government when it describes the attacks as an act of war, I've a feeling their response will be surprisingly war like.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
