Round here we are just beyond the London boundary. The scheme max is a property for 250k. At the moment that would buy you a 1 bedroom flat. If property prices increase by the time you cash the ISA then it won't buy you anything.

Might get mine out of the box and start adding some alcohol:)I think it was if you look carefully you can only see 2 marks where the knife cut into the board.
Oh gosh.....you are right. I've blown it up and checked. It's one huge slice:pAfternoon nutters, just a little update to say I sorted out the situation that had me it tears in the week,,,,,,,,,,went into work with everything documented but hidden & asked for a meeting and put my side. Before I could even finish the perpetrator grovelling in such a way that I nearly fainted.
He said he had been having a bad day (what), and realised he had made a big mistake when he saw the horror on my face....anyways everything is sorted, just to sort out the other manager on mondayhope all have a fab weekend and lots of coupons and glitches abound xxx

DS is going on a coach trip to Disneyland Paris for New Years Eve. Am pretty jealous, would love to go but not in a position to healthwise this year. Anyway, I digress....
He leaves at 7.30pm on 30th, and will be back around 10am on 1st. 2 nights sleeping on a coach.
He wants it to be as cheap as possible, so looking for food ideas that might survive that length of time. I think he is going to take a cool box with ice blocks on the coach, so I suggested he could freeze some sandwiches and pasties.
Anyone done this kind of thing before and have some good ideas?
Does he like nuts and raisins for snacking? Make sure he has a good meal in him before he goes with lots of fresh sandwiches for the evening. Fruit and cereal bars for breakfast. Buy chips and hot dogs while there and save some apples and cereal bars for breakfast the next day. Chocolate too:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Set up DS1's laptop for him. Managed to load Microsoft word 2007. For some reason excel didn't load, but doubt he needs it. If he wants office 365 he will have to buy it!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I've got milk, yogurt, cheese.........how about eggs?
Don't think eggs are included but one year we had just rol pastry that worked, so other random things may qualifyTo do is to be. Rousseau

Just seems unfair that they can't get the £3,000 bonus at all if they buy anything over £250k. When there won't be anything under 250k to buy. Yet literally 2 miles away the limit is 450k and they would then be able to get the bonus. (Not that I want them to have to pay 3300k+ for a pokey flat, but you get my point.)I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
