Save us from panettone – the festive delicacy nobody likes

I like it it's just we never get round to using it.

Same here, we would only get about 10 days out of it i think but I am kind of wondering if its not worth it to try and get the *christmassy* feeling I am totally lacking this year ;(

I recon it works out at about £6 a day, I wish I hadnt done the sums lolol!

You may as well be risking the Pepsi Cola 30 cans in a shop in A for one day later that you put a tree up:rotfl:.

Don't worry - we manage with a bare house here:o:eek::rotfl:. It's just because it's a "big" purchase - it's outside my remit of grocery price interest, I haven't a clue at all what to get, I'd end up spending money I could save and use on something else, it's easier to just sit and do nothing:o.

:idea:Perhaps get one with my large APG - I do need to be spending something!

Crikey! There's a by-election results programme on - I didn't even know there was a by-election! I am sometimes an elections junkie, with all the stats and things - so, I might get little done now:rotfl: (and stay up far later than I should...:o:o:rotfl:). I do have to be up for things later this morning too!

Dont worry, looks like the results are coming soon, and you can guess them anyway.

Im hoping my xmas trip gives me the festive mood that I usually lack, so might not need a tree. :)

Go another A a bit farther away - might cost you six quid in petrol, but can forego the tree for a further day:rotfl:!

We'd all love to know if the Pepsi works (whichever one may be picked).

Now I have a decision to make....I normally have a huge real tree, but this year I will be away for the period before xmas, and out a lot over xmas, so do I still buy a tree or not? Hmm, bordering on not, but I know if I dont, I 'might' miss it.

Or you might be lucky like me and pick up just a couple of receipts. I wasn't supposed to be going to A in the last day - only went there to see if my 'favourite' SA was on and help with spending some vouchers from some particular receipts. They were not - so I came back, but had just picked up a couple - didn't bother, this time, doing a full search of the place (both ends of the car park) as someone had seen me coming out of one part of the store and I thought it would be too much if they then saw me walking back to the other area and then later back again! I need to keep low profiles. Maybe I'm paranoid:rotfl:.

Anyway, my two receipts have resulted in over £5 between them! I'm saving that for a short time later though, as I have enough to spend before Christmas - might wait a little on these. They are there - and, sorry Northern Ireland you'll miss out on this again - Morrisons do seem to be very keen-priced at the moment (or at least same priced on a lot) as I've had a run all of which involved M triggering sometimes quite a voucher (only up to £3 something though at best, but that's been good) and had only one 'failure' in between! Maybe it's just the offers in both A and M coinciding a little more than usual - the Giovanni for example. (Of course, where they coincide and the APG contribution from the individual item is lower, I tend to be less wanting to put them onto my list - or put them there with a frown against the A price - as not very good in APG terms.)
