Whats the HFP emails please

An avios example:
Next summers holiday is using 150,000 avios plus £1000 taxes.
If I had bought the same BA flights we are taking in business, they would have cost £5000. So the extra £4000 I have spent values each avios at 2.7p. (4000 divided by 150,000).
But I could have taken a flight with a cheaper airline at say £4600. So that reduces the avios to 2.4p (3600 / 150,000)
I could get cheaper eg £4200 by changing planes in say Dublin. Avios value drops to 2.1p
Cheapest I could get would be economy and changing planes at dire timings, but that comes to £1500 so the avios are then worth 0.3p.
But you would never do the last option, so for me that would not be a good valuation to use. For someone that is prepared to buy avios, through offers etc or just paying for them, then they need to watch what they are spending out to ensure the collection is worthwhile.
I would suggest that if you are building up a stash of them, that will take years to work your way through, you need to be certain that you will use all the Avios you stack up - or you are paying for something you will never use. (A bit like some people's stack of cereals/ coke etc). There is also an issue of availability of reward flights but that is a whole new conversation.

Talking about Avios points, how many would someone get in say 6 months if they were spending about £1k a week on a points card, so say 25K, and where would that get you a flight to (and back)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

There is a 50% off voucher in the mags in store, making it £1.99. Its 1kg
The M one is quite large too - but I don't know if it's as much as 1Kg. It is not as good as £1.99 though. In fact I can see it is on msm after all (get your facts right Savvy:p:D) - it's £3.50:eek: (you can see now why it never made it to a mention let alone to my list:rotfl:) but the weight isn't stated on msm. I did have the weight at one point. I don't think you'll get better than £1.99 (for 1Kg) and it's worth risking it, if you want it, without bothering with M. I know I thought "but it's just like bread though isn't it really?" and then decided perhaps it'd be much much cheaper just buying a loaf of value bread and not bothering with a Panettone at all:rotfl:.
Even if the M one, at the upper end of what I'm thinking, turns out to be as much as 1.5Kg (and I don't think it is - I'm thinking 800g, I don't know why, maybe it's because that's what it is:doh:) - if it was as much as 1.5Kg though, it would still work out at £2.33 a kilogram. You'd have to be talking 1.8Kg - which there is a little chance it could be if I'm seriously getting my 800gs mixed up - and, even then, it would work out at Lidl just 6p more for a kilogram. You would have to pay M £3.50 for whatever amount it is (assuming you even find it in stock at your M store) - you could not just pay £1.99.0 -

If you are going for something really specific, you're not as likely to find it on offer. I normally go for whichever one is on offer price (...and then find the rest of my party refuses to have offer shoes/trainers for themselves but insists on the ones that are full price:wall:). Maybe there's some close alternative you can find instead, even this late (:eek:it's still three weeks away from Christmas!).
Of course, really the time to buy is next month:rotfl:. Seriously though, sorry you're having trouble finding it.0 -

IM afraid that thet is what I have to find, no movement. Teenagers.
Are you indulging in a bottle of Baileys from Morrisons then?“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
