We'd all love to know if the Pepsi works (whichever one may be picked).
25 miles to a proper asda, i have to be SURE to spend that amount of petrol! :rotfl::rotfl: I keep hoping they extend my tiny crap one but its not happening.0 -
Sorry to hear you and family are going through such a tough time fairclaire.
Any advice I could offer would probably be similar to the practical sounding houseguest#CHEEKY :cool:0 -

That's about 10 miles more than I'd usually consider travelling. You'd have to go as part of a day trip out or something:rotfl:. Yes, very likely as this cold time of the year (brrrr...).0 -

I know, but I still have to watch the whole thing:doh: even if there's news of no news as that's part of the interest! Somehow:rotfl:. Though - it's actually more this thread that's causing me to not get on with the updating of lists - I'm not really paying that much attention to the TV (like wallpaper at the moment - that said, actually, people like me take in things such as backgrounds and styles of wallpaper and patterns on carpets in rooms we walk into - although, really, I don't have much of that 'problem'/'delightful interesting way of seeing the world' as I don't find things like that distracting - tbh I couldn't tell you much about the wallpaper in the room I'm in (my own living room) as I haven't paid it any attention. My point was the TV is on here, a little like wallpaper (at the moment) for most people).0 -
Hang on! Not wallpaper now, immediately, as result coming in. Back soon - I won't bother you with the result (you can read/find it anywhere else).0

My thought is "Is it live on Sky Radio News?" (Just like you are all thinking I know.) Or is the newsreader finishing in the studio now, only to be told there's been some breaking news in the last few moments and will have to get it in only at two o'clock.
I must find out now - got an urge to do the catch-up:rotfl:, in about ten minutes' time when it's on 1am.0 -
I've no idea the result was, I missed it! But I'm aware that someone from Labour is speaking now and has been elected. So, the news is: Labour kept the seat.0

I mean - offering us Cadbury's Heroes - small 185g carton - on 2 for £2! I don't know who they take me for:rotfl:. When much larger other cartons were available earlier in the year at 2 for £2. I would expect a carton of about at least twice that size in order to think that mbuy was worth buying. Even then, really, I'd be aiming more towards 500g.
I'm not saying the Santa box will work on the APG btw:rotfl:.
Nor do I, really, think 180g is much good - in the light of my paragraph above.
That quotation will take you back to my M list, possibly helpfully.
It may be better if this were to be 2 for £3 in A instore and for it to miss an A mbuy. I would hope the M offer got picked up.0 -
Waste of time as A pricematched (surprise surprise not 90p!). Unless I hear of some coupons or CB making anything better. I'd actually consider getting this in Sains at £1.75 and losing 10p 10% if I was spending "loyalty" points and getting them all back like last time. Would rather S were £2 or more though:rotfl:. I'm not spending in S at the moment though - I have not had any cond spends in the post yet and I'm not holding my breath for very long!

Hopefully it wouldn't lose us on wombles (vs M and would add a little bit) if someone goes for a r'back "offer"! Why bother - what's the difference in paying a quid for this and getting some way much cheaper own label alternative that does just about the same? So I don't understand the expensive brands mentality. The only use I see is if I am spending points, without paying them anything, and wanting to get some of the value back (in BM voucher). It'll doubtless lose us on wombles vs S, but probably not to worry as S is so expensive anyway (and best hope generally is vs M or vs T - they seem to be the most common triggerers of APG vouchers for me) and I hope N/A vs T/W (pretty useless in itself, unless that's the eighth item that they bought).
Lol, again, at what I've written:rotfl:. But it's true if we are trying to save as much money - preferably all money - if possible!0 -
Surprise surprise also £3 in M:rotfl:. Not getting onto the list, something so expensive! Can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative? I'm sure the Elite can. Not that I need anything of this type anyway:rotfl:.
