  • I know the relief better than you'd think :o I actually found out the meaning of the phrase weight off the shoulders that day . I sat on the sofa that night and my shoulders really did feel lighter

You have to do what's best for you :A:)

    When d'you finish?

Some time ago I might have felt the same. Again, it's all about doing what's best for you :)

I know what you mean, I feel so different already. I won't have to drink so much any more (water!) to keep up with the loss through tears.
I leave on the 18 January, I have to give 2 months notice but I have the 2 week Christmas break off so not too many working days left. It does damage my pension leaving before 60 but at least I'll be around to reach 60!
We've paid off the mortgage and don't have children at home so should manage till I find something less stressful.
I'll have to learn how to glitch more efficiently.

Thank you to all those that have commented, much appreciated.x

Think it is somewhere near Darlo, it is the biggest thing of its sort ever (at least in the UK). There is 1000 actors, and they have built a lake for it, its huge, and on at weekends over the summer. Begins with a K .

    Is it kynren

Yes. And I'm celebrating this one in style.
I've moved away from birthdays in recent years because no one likes getting older. But when you face running out of them they start to become important again :o

I'm doing something special with one of those friends who will always be your friend no matter what. The type of friend who you might not contact for months just because you have nothing to say but will always be there when you do and when you do, it's like you've never been apart.

I'm also over dressing because I bought a very expensive dress for my work do which I had to miss because of the funeral I had to attend. Bought the dress and I AM wearing it. So I probably just cost my friend a fortune in 'keeping up clothes' :rotfl::rotfl:

Sarandol I'm glad your Nan got a good send off and I'm sorry you lost her x

    Thankyou.

I hope you enjoy your birthday, and you dress up as glam as you like, you bloody deserve it.
Glad the fab dress arrived. Are you pleased with quality and fit as I might order something.

Sarahdol so sorry for your loss. I have not been keeping up very well. Glad Nan had a good send off.

    V x

    Thankyou
