Isn't it great now that asda no longer keep the unused evouchers, For a long time now Asda have kept change from evouchers perhaps when you haven't spent enough when you come to collect your order. Handy to turn those big APG into cash especially when the product is OOS.

I wasn't aware of this - how does it work please?

Yes. And I'm celebrating this one in style.
I've moved away from birthdays in recent years because no one likes getting older. But when you face running out of them they start to become important again :o

I'm doing something special with one of those friends who will always be your friend no matter what. The type of friend who you might not contact for months just because you have nothing to say but will always be there when you do and when you do, it's like you've never been apart.

I'm also over dressing because I bought a very expensive dress for my work do which I had to miss because of the funeral I had to attend. Bought the dress and I AM wearing it. So I probably just cost my friend a fortune in 'keeping up clothes' :rotfl::rotfl:

Sarandol I'm glad your Nan got a good send off and I'm sorry you lost her x

I know what you mean about birthdays.....we don't bother much these days.....you tend to get a bit blas! ...things you need or want you can afford all year round ......the special things are the memories, shared experiences, a lovely meal out.....bloomin heck....I'm happy with a costa coffee these days :rotfl: I seem to want or need very little these days to make me happy

    Overdressing is good:T

    Good evening paw sniffers:D

Great coupons from Sains on Mycoupons.

Once again I am amazed at how well they have profiled my shopping habits including the glitchy items I have recently bought from A:eek:

    Surely not:eek:

Right I'm off to do some internet Christmas shopping:T:T

    Has anyone seen VT?

Is she back from her jollies yet?

Thanks for asking. Yes back from my jollies but been sleeping ever since including on 36 hour marathon session with a 3 hour wake in the middle for food and the bathroom. Can barely keep my eyes open.
Have been reading on and off. See I missed do tablets but I don't think my store reduced them anyway.
See the Jacobs crackers have been glitching (thanks sfsb) but unable to get out and gather they are a one day thing. Love these, did the bzz trial for them.
Managed a very un mse shop in sainsbobs yesterday which include a Mog and book and new pillows, been sleeping so much nearly worn mine out:eek:

Life is a little challenging at the moment but I will be reading and hope things get a bit more normal soon.

    V x

For mhoc found a lovely little canaries cruise on Braemar 10th Dec £375 for outside cabin including flights. Think inside was £285 shame I my travel companion will be busy with festive preparations, wondering if worth going along as lovely ship. No drinks package but I wouldn't be drinking. Good price as 13 nts and safe destinations.

  • I handed in my resignation on Wednesday and you can't believe the relief I feel. My work has been making me ill and I was hoping to stick it out till I was 60, (another 18 months) but health is more important. I used to love my job and thought it was the best most satisfying job but it has changed beyond all recognition and I rarely see the children I am meant to be helping!
Looking for something else now, probably with out using my hard earned qualifications!

Congratulations Josie, I am sure that we have had this conversation before, but what do you do?

Good for you Josie and I'm pleased that you realise that you have made the right choice.

I too used to love my job, however recent changes have meant that I have come to hate it. My current job is nothing like what I signed up for many years ago and, like you, I actually think that I am suffering mentally because of it.

Unfortunately, I am nearly 50 and my redundancy package is not far off £40,000 so I need to stick it out till something outwith my control happens. I don't relish the fact that I might have to compete in the market for jobs paying half what I currently get against boys half my age, so I might try to get a job as Asda's chief apg fraud expert..;)

I think they should offer you £100,000 a year.... they would save a fortune! x
