I know what you mean about birthdays.....we don't bother much these days.....you tend to get a bit blas! ...things you need or want you can afford all year round ......the special things are the memories, shared experiences, a lovely meal out.....bloomin heck....I'm happy with a costa coffee these days :rotfl: I seem to want or need very little these days to make me happy

    Overdressing is good:T

Getting to a position in life where you can buy what you need when you want it is a nice place to be. it makes presents difficult but it also means you have reached that place you've been striving so hard to reach for what seems like forever.

I'm still saving, it's in my blood now. But I can miss a glitch and not kick myself, I feel easy about enjoying the money I have saved......I can't take it with me and I know my family would rather enjoy it with me than be left to spend it without me.

Not sure what tonight on here has been all about and I'm past caring. Savvy Sal is a dying breed on here who has a voice without being afraid to use it. We shouldn't try and silence people. If they get in trouble for speaking out, that's their lookout. This place is built on diversity and we are losing it.

Dont get to where I am and look at your stash and wonder if you will be around long enough to use it up and feel sorry for the people you will leave behind who will think .....!!!!!! Am I supposed to do with all this ;)

Did anyone find the link to Madmuppet's song, I have been looking for it but must have been on the laptop that's broken. Would be nice to finish the day off with a rendition. RIP Mad. :A

Thanks for asking. Yes back from my jollies but been sleeping ever since including on 36 hour marathon session with a 3 hour wake in the middle for food and the bathroom. Can barely keep my eyes open.
Have been reading on and off. See I missed do tablets but I don't think my store reduced them anyway.
See the Jacobs crackers have been glitching (thanks sfsb) but unable to get out and gather they are a one day thing. Love these, did the bzz trial for them.
Managed a very un mse shop in sainsbobs yesterday which include a Mog and book and new pillows, been sleeping so much nearly worn mine out:eek:

Life is a little challenging at the moment but I will be reading and hope things get a bit more normal soon.

For mhoc found a lovely little canaries cruise on Braemar 10th Dec £375 for outside cabin including flights. Think inside was £285 shame I my travel companion will be busy with festive preparations, wondering if worth going along as lovely ship. No drinks package but I wouldn't be drinking. Good price as 13 nts and safe destinations.

    Are you ok VT?

I don't suppose Paris was the holiday you expected:o

Think it is somewhere near Darlo, it is the biggest thing of its sort ever (at least in the UK). There is 1000 actors, and they have built a lake for it, its huge, and on at weekends over the summer. Begins with a K .
