Sorry for those finding work tough at the moment:o
It's especially hard when it impacts on your home life and starts causing you stress. But if anyone can take a leap into the unknown it's us lot......we can live on very little and get the best deals on utilities, holidays etc.
I'm in a very lucky position as my 2 are at university and beyond and I understand it's different when children are still young........but we are in such a privileged position......don't let the boogers grind you down:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Isn't it great now that asda no longer keep the unused evouchers, For a long time now Asda have kept change from evouchers perhaps when you haven't spent enough when you come to collect your order. Handy to turn those big APG into cash especially when the product is OOS.0

Looking for something else now, probably with out using my hard earned qualifications!
I know the relief better than you'd thinkI actually found out the meaning of the phrase weight off the shoulders that day . I sat on the sofa that night and my shoulders really did feel lighter
You have to do what's best for you :A:)

I too used to love my job, however recent changes have meant that I have come to hate it. My current job is nothing like what I signed up for many years ago and, like you, I actually think that I am suffering mentally because of it.
Unfortunately, I am nearly 50 and my redundancy package is not far off £40,000 so I need to stick it out till something outwith my control happens. I don't relish the fact that I might have to compete in the market for jobs paying half what I currently get against boys half my age, so I might try to get a job as Asda's chief apg fraud expert..;)
Some time ago I might have felt the same. Again, it's all about doing what's best for youmiss_corerupted wrote: »Yes there were. I had forgotten about that!

Don't worry: I have checked - they paid for the Maggis at full price each.
Never mind: they got the "best value" on their shop anyway, as A was cheapest:wall:. But that was only because of the way in which they bought. They could have taken one item out and targetted one shop and got better!0 -

I'm a celebrity nugget of wisdom from DS2 tonight
'Why is she screaming at having those bugs on her? It must have been much more painful have those balloons put in her boobs' :rotfl::rotfl:
Said between tonight's nipples which are treeslets ('treeslets.....get it mum?) and grapes that need to be eaten because mum forgot to remove the use by date
We are loving Gorgie Porter. Perfect don't judge a book by its cover example.
Great night for me besides the little hiccup of DS2 piping up at the second advert break with his size 8 'Eh mum, don't forget my fungal nail treatment' :rotfl::rotfl:put me off my treeslets0 -
