oh dear it WAS me that went missing from class for ages today, everything just crashed and burned. :o

I thought it was just mine at first, but it seems the neighbours lines were dead too.Hopefully I did not miss anything that is vital for the job.
Is anyone else having problems with the caprice phone from argos,I have tried a couple of times before my line died to unmute using *7 but it just wont let me  , I feel like gradually over the course of the week the speakerphone is getting quieter.

Hopefully the phone and headset they send you are are better

ps good luck for monday nifferwilko, you'll be fine :D

Dont forget Boots, you can always repack the phone and exchange
it for the Opticom one if you want, with the argos 14 day thing
  • Hi Boots,
Yes I've got the Caprice phone. It's been on full volume and can hardly hear some of the time. Started off, fantastic volume first night. Would you recommend the Opticom, Oliver?

You'll be contacted by email, if not then just mention it on your first day of training and the people doing the training will sort it out.

Mine didn't come with batteries neither, just spoke to the manager of my local store who says I can come in and collect 3 AAA batteries for it next week ;-)

I know we'll be gettin a telephone with the headset but still needed this for the training (and speakerphone!)
  • I've been trying to log into workbooth all day but I think my CD must have malfunctioned

I have been trying it on our desktop which is the PC that was tested and found to be fine on the workbooth conference call, but keep getting a message now to say that I need to go into failsafe mode to change display time

When I put it in my laptop, it just spews out loads of white writing saying 'error' It has worked in my laptop before so I dont know what is going on now!

    grrrr, I'm not happy!
