i do have that socket so i dont have to change internet provider then i just changed over to bt today but think i could cancel it

i am with tiscali and i have a usb modem which i need to connect to the internet would this other router not interfere with my internet connection with tiscali

You will basically use this router instead of your speedtouch
modem, and it will work with any adsl Internet provider inc

you plug the new router into your phone line, connect it to your
pc with the supplied network cable, follow the setup where you
type your user name and password into the router setup page,
remove any software for the speedtouch modem first and your away

then the router itself manages the Internet connection, which allows
you to use there Workbooth (how you do your job) software without having to install modem software like you have done with your usb speedtouch, also it can also make your pc run a little faster because it takes some strain of the processor and it's a always on connection so you dont have to do that log in thing with your speedtouch when you want to go online.

Hey guys, Just wondering. I applied for the job 3 weeks ago done all the tests etc recieved the workbooth cd done the project"test" and everything else. When it came to the telephone interview i recieved the initial phone interview but when it came to the main one i recieved no call.:eek: I have tried telling the live help people but they told me that someone did try to call but no luck but i can remember that i was in all day . Do you have any email addresses or phone numbers that i could call for assistance. i am depending on this job (cashflow problems) lol and overdraft demands lol

Hello,
I have just had my telephone interview and was told there is no training coming up but I will be called once there is, as it changes week by week.
She said my file will be kept to one side.
Do you think this means I have got it or am I being fobbed off ?
I so desperately wanted the job and think I have blown the interview. Have been off work having a family for 4 years so completely out of practice :huh:

Probably just waiting on a new training group as they are just finishing one and starting another. Once those are underway/ finished they will know what requirements they have for further personnel.

Just keep your fingers crossed m4nners, they have took
allot of people since I first made this post, so they could of
put further training onhold for a few weeks, but i am sure
it will start again soon, there is also bound to be people leaving
who find it's not for them so that will open the doors

did you ask them if they could arrange a 2nd call,
or maybe you could try to reapply?

M4nners, we're nearly done on our training block and some have only just been told their working hours. Natural depletion means not everyone will still be taking calls this time next week so no doubt they are just monitoring the situation to see how many people they need for the next block.

Hi Everyone,

Well I have done all the online tests and passed, done all the interviews and got the job, filled out all the forms and got my ID confirmed at the very reasonable price of £5 ( result! ) - can't believe how much some of you have had to pay for this! Anyone applying in the Dudley/Birmingham area go to Higgs .Training starts Monday 1st October for me and I am quite nervous this is all completely new to me. How are other people getting on with their training?
Can I also add I think everything about this job depends on who interviews you as to the info you get. I haven't started yet but I have been given my training schedule my first weeks work rota my log on details and they keep in touch by email yet I notice quite a few of you really struggle to get the info its all very strange.
