  • its ok problem solved.. i panicked there...
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • Ok yet another problem.
I got the message about 'routers' too, ive read whats been put on this board earlier and it seems as though its going to cost me £30 +, with that and a new phone and the solicitors, its just not going to be worth my while.
Is there any other options that avoid the 'router'???

  • Hi Cat,
i agree that there is usually some outlay with work, but i have recently been declared Bankrupt, have NO spare cash and no CC to use. Thats why i was hoping to find a way of doing this without finding £30.
Although you have to 'speculate to accumulate' so maybe i need to beg, borrow (not allowed when BR) or steal (not allowed full stop).
If anyone knows of a way of getting round this without spending money i would be greatful though.
    Thanks

  • Hey betterlatethannever, hows it going - just had a thought about this and your current situation so I'll send you a PM.

Missed a call today for an interview (not prearranged) so I went onto live help and apparently someone is calling me in the next 10 minutes - ekk. But I notice that it's pretty informal so I'm not too worried. Nice to know that I passed the assessments though even with my technical difficulties!

I'll let you know how I get on.....
  • ....went okay. It was the first interview where they just ask can you work in the UK, etc etc. My final interview is on Monday @ 5:30pm "don't miss this interview or you will not be considered for employment"!!
Still deciding whether or not to actually accept, in two minds at the moment (as I have a house that needs doing up!)
  • This is my third attempt to get this post on here !!! lol

I was trying to say well done and good luck for monday !
If I were you I would have the interview and carry on as if you were going to accept the job. Then when the contract arrives see what your circumstances are and how you feel about it.

    Once again good luck xxx
Eeee by gum, does your belly touch your bum ? :p
  • ^^^^^^ Woo hoo it made it on !!!

oh dear it WAS me that went missing from class for ages today, everything just crashed and burned. :o

I thought it was just mine at first, but it seems the neighbours lines were dead too.Hopefully I did not miss anything that is vital for the job.
Is anyone else having problems with the caprice phone from argos,I have tried a couple of times before my line died to unmute using *7 but it just wont let me  , I feel like gradually over the course of the week the speakerphone is getting quieter.

Hopefully the phone and headset they send you are are better

ps good luck for monday nifferwilko, you'll be fine :D

If you were seeing line issues then it was probably that causing the speakerphone volume to drop out and not the phone.
