A real work at home job

Just completed my computer compatability & assessment. Went okay, although I had a little trouble with "Thompson" - I must have misheard his account number as I could'nt get his details up - had to play guess the answer!!
Wondering how I'm going to work the logistics of training as I don't normally get in from soon-to-be-ex job until 6:30. Looks like I'm going to have to sweet talk my boss into letting me start & finish earlier so I can do the training. Grrrr
I too have nominated oliver for post of the month - definately well deserved!

could anyone advise me of a laptop that they know is compatible with workbooth cd at a reasonable price,also is it possible, if i had a laptop to use the pc with another ethernet cable from the livebox at the same time as using the workbooth ?

I got a new laptop for the work with teletech as my computer finally died. Took list of spec details to PC world and curry's both had same laptop in stock for £299, E-System EI3103. 15.4" widescreen, wireless ready, 512MB 533 RAM Intel celeron, DVD RW, 3 x USB, TV out, VGA out nheadphone out, mic in, 56K modem, 10/100 Mbit LAN. So fgar its been great. It runs Vista and its microsoft works rather than ms office, but I've downloaded office trial when needed to open docs from microsoft site. Its a great little laptop for price, also runs workbooth to perfection.

Using another PC while using workboot would depend on what the 2nd PC was doing. If you don't download a lot of stuff you should be ok, general browsing should be fine. You have to be careful you don't end up with the 2nd PC taking all the bandwidth.

Generally, i don't download an awful lot so I suppose, all I can do is when i get a laptop give it a go.

I have just checked my bandwidth ,both wireless and with ethernet cable that i bought for this, and me is thinking i may go back to using the cable as its gone up by over 2Mb

Postie has just brought me a new telephone and headset from Teletech

bummer, I didnt know they were sending a telephone so I just bought one from argos last week :mad: I wonder if they will take it back under the 16 day guarantee thing

Hi, MBM Also got the phone and headset this morning. I guess there must be an adaptor for the phone socket ??? Yeah, same..bought phone from Argos..quite like it though!
