Still no workbooth cd :sad:

I dont think I am going to be able to start on monday now! I tried emailing the man who did my interview, but he hasnt got back to me yet and its getting a bit close now.

I dont suppose anyone who has decided not to persue would let me have their disc? If anyone could do this I would be so grateful!

Failing that, does anyone know the numbers you have to dial first to get an american number? There is a number on the email but it doesnt look like it has the international dialling number on it

hiya everyone,
i still have not received the workbooth cd,or a phone call,but i have just completed the computer assessment.When they receive my results from the assessment ,i dont think i will them:rotfl: .

The beginning of the assessment went fine,until i got to the computer part of the assessment.Thought i would have a quick look around before i started just to check i knew where everything was,but when i clicked on something i kept coming up question submitted and going to another screen ,so i think they will probably look at my answers and think,is this person for real !!!!

well fingers crossed i get someone who's in a good mood when they check my results:D ,either that or that or they're miserable and could do with a laugh,so think ,we will employ this one :rotfl:

Oh no!

That second part of the test is a nightmare! My wrist kept answering the questions by drifting over my touch mousepad... I wouldnt mind by my wrist wasnt very good at answering questions, they just kept being submitted before I had answered (

I did pass the test but I told the guy I wasnt very happy with my results so he let me have another shot when I did much better! Hopefully they will let you have another go aswell.

Ooops, looks like I was being a bit premature, sorry TeleTech.

Postie has just been and he has brought my disc, yay!

Wish me luck that my laptop is up to the job!

The same thing happened to me. I knew how to do all the tasks, but I kept getting question submitted before I had completed it. Very frustrating!

:mad: the workbooth disc wouldnt run :sad: It loaded okay, but just couldnt connect to the internet.

I checked on the workbooth website and it looks like the problem is my ethernet controller..... This is what I have: Marvell Yukon 88E8038 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller.

This is what it says on the FAQ's:

Unsupported Hardware
Solution
10/100/1000 gigabit Ethernet cards, Marvel Yukon PCIE Express Gigacard---Davicom Chipset---Realtek Ethernet Cards

Does it look likely that this is the problem?

I have got the disc to work on our desktop, I really dont understand it.. our desktop is a crappy old heap and my laptop is new!!

At least I start training on monday now but its going to be very inconvenient working from where the desktop is located. I dont think those cables are very expensive as you can pick them up very cheaply on ebay, but I'm not sure they are compatible with Vista.... arrrrrrggghhh!

Oh well, at least I have got the disc working... one question though How do you eject the disc?

Hi MBM,

When I put my Hirepoint ID and email in I get a message to say that it has failed and that I can try later. Did you get your details to go in OK?

I had to turn my laptop off before I could eject the CD.
