Hi mustbemad, looks like I'll be "seeing" you tonight on the conference call just in case.
The lady who gave me my second interview sent me an email confirming that headsets are free and that we wont get them untill a few days into training.(I suppose there will be a large proportion of people that have got this far but won't turn up on the night)
As for the kids, there's always gaffer tape!!!;)
I'll cyber see you later then SammyyIs anyone else going to be there?
I wonder if they will tell you exactly what phone you need, I've never seen one with a plug for a headset before?
I really have to get on with filling in that form today! What a nightmare, I have to go to the town hall to get a copy of my birth certificate.. I wonder why a full drivers license isnt good enough for the ID Verification but it is for the CRB check? I also have to find somewhere to photocopy it before taking it to the solicitor
I still havent been asked about references, has everyone else?
MBM x0 -
Odd about the references MBM, they have already checked
mine as one of my personal ones called me to say teletech had
rang them and had asked a load of questions about me
I will be there for the call tonight btw0 -
Hi, I gave up with trying to submit the first p.c. test. Decided to paste it into an e mail 'n send it. Well it was approved and I took the on line test. Haven't heard anything yet...That was about 11.30 Wednesday night.....Do they usually respond quickly? I know I have to account for the time difference so just wondered........ Best of luck for call tonight!!!!0

Sounds cool guys, let us know how you get on...!

Well, I have to say I am really glad I didn't pursue this. It sounds a complete shambles, sounds like no one will be ready to start training ontime, and after some of the horror stories I have read, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole! I am happy to keep looking for homeworking job I will actually enjoy, if such a thing actually exsists. Guess I will keep up the typing training I am doing right now and pursue a transcribing job.
Unfortunately I am away next week from tomorrow, but look forward to seeing how you are all getting on when I get back.0 -

Have you had any phone calls yet?
I had a short phonecall first and the man sent the link to the online assessment after the call ended, he also made an appt to call back in a couple of hours for the 2nd interview. It was at the 2nd interview that he pulled up the results of my test.
hths,

hi yasmin 911
i am in the same position i still have not had any phone calls at all but i have done computer assessment to check software is compatible aswell as the test.
the test was in my emails yesterday morning,so i just done it ,i am hoping someone will ring today ,as i go away next week ,i have still not received my workbooth CD.
mbm,if they didn't pull your results up until the 2nd interview ,i am still in with a chance of them calling me,because if they do it first ,then they probably wont ring at all :rotfl:
good luck yasmin911 and let us know how you get on
thanks boots0 -
This is so confusing
I applied and then recieved an email to test my computer, everything fine there, then I recieved another email to do the online test which I did.
I then received a short telephone call from Kylie no andvanced warning or booking an interview appointment, she just asked to speak to me and if it was ok to ask a few questions.
All she said to me was "Thank You for applying to join Teletech" she basically then asked if I was still interested in the job:mad: (I had only done the test 1 hour before her call)
She then explained you have to be flexiable with working patterns and she could offer me hours between 5-11pm
I asked if there were any rota's available with Sat off she said I will have a look, then said no shifts available with Sat off if that shift becomes available is it ok to get in touch at a later date?
This morning I received the Workbooth CD just tried it in PC works fine.
But No hours to suit me:mad:
Does anyone know how to get in touch I have tried email but with NO reply
I have also tried the Live talk but the person who I was connected to could only answer questions on US
Thanks

Not sure what else you want them to do Sadie, you wanted
Saturday off they have no shifts left with Saturday off
They offered to keep you on file in-case a Saturday off shift
comes up, sounds fair to me
Personally I think you will be better taking any shift you can at
first, as at least you can request a shift change with your supervisor
directly, I imagine that a current employee would get a better chance of getting a Saturday than somebody kept on record0 -
That's exacally what I was thinking Oliver,
The reason I asked for Sat off was that we have a caravan and I couldn't commit myself to every sat but the season has nearly finished now and I have thought about it and thought probably I was a little hasty in my decission.
As by the time the training is finished the season will be over then I am free on Saturday's
That is why I asked if anyone had any contacts for them I was going to get in touch and explain that by the time I started training I would be free anytime.
Do you have a contact number??0
