Hi MBM
Yeah everything ok with solicitor, have to go
back tomorrow to pick up the paperwork and
then get it in the post,
Have a look here http://workbooth.info/index.php?PHPSESSID=f748544a5af7cf6f3e99bd3b1ef7e178&topic=368.0
it says workbooth session for people with boot or connection
problems, thats why I said I thought it was only for them,
all you do is dial number then type in passcode, record your name
then your introduced into the conference call, keep in mind it's not
a freecall though.
Thanks for the link,
oh dear, things are going to be very frosty in the MBM household as of next week. I was just reading though the FAQ's and apparently no one else can connect to the router whilst you are using the workbooth cd  my 13 year old is going to be very
I dont know why I was asked to go on this call thing, I havent even got a workbooth cd yet so how do they know I wont be able to connect it

What speed broadband do you have MBM?,
A router will share the bandwidth equally
so if you have a fast'ish connection I think
you would get away with it0 -
hi
i am really interested in this, i have done a system scan as directed earlier in the post ,it came back at 512mb with no empty spaces,is this enough to carry on or will my pc need to be upgraded to continue
thanks in advance
boots0 -
512mb is fine Boots1, hurry up and apply0
-
thanks oliver 27,
i have completed the application on line:j
Do they ring you first or send the computer test via e mail first ?,couldn't work it out from other posts as people seem to be getting slightly different things
Our broadband is wireless with orange at the minute, would i have to disconnect the livebox and fit a new cable direct to phone socket ?:o
Sorry to be a bit dim,as posted earlier maybe technical support isn't for me but i am figuring the training will be thorough and you will pick things up along the way like most jobs
heres hoping
thanks again boots0 -
The next step will be a email inviting you to take the pc test,
this is just to check if your pc meets there spec
you need a cable like this between your pc and Livebox
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Cat5e-Snagless-Patch-Cable/dp/B0000DG4WQ/ref=sr_1_12/202-9767931-0390212?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1188983566&sr=8-12
on the back of the Livebox will be a RJ45 lan socket connect
cable to that.0 -

We only have a piddly 1GB  We pay for up to 8GB but 1GB is all the line is capable of  I think I read that Wookbooth requires at least a 256MB so maybe it will still work. If it wont, I guess I can look into getting one of those new USB mobile internet things from 3any excuse!!
Well I guess I wont be joining the conference call tonight then, no workbooth cd has arrivedI recieved my hire pack today so I need to get on with sorting that out. Does anyone have a number for anyone at TeleTech? I think I had better ring them as we are supposed to be starting training in a few days!
I also havent heard anything about providing references yet

Hi MBM,
Ive got about as far as you. Ive received the CD but no welcome pack.
Ive emailed the lady that gave me my final interview regarding references as I had not received anything about it. Ive still not heard back yet.
Im starting to think that I will not have everything completed for Monday.

I think teletech got there numbers wrong, MBM you will have a 1mb
line speed, Teletech must mean 256kbps line, the fastest broadband in the
uk is 24mb so theres no way they can ask for a 256mb minimum :rolleyes:0 -
So where we all at then, anyone else posted there new hire
paperwork back yet, with the solicitor paperwork?0
