  • Thanks for the info about the cable MBM. unfortunately I can't see getting this job off the ground right now as if they ask about commitments in the next 12 weeks, I would have to tell them I am going on hols on Saturday for a week, lol! Maybe I will get the cables I need and re-apply when your training is doing to see if they are doing another course.

Wishing you (and everyone else!) all the best with your new jobs. I will be lurking to see how you are all getting on and how you like it.

We decided last night we desperately need a break... just a week in a caravan with the children... am really not sure I am up to the demands of this right now, as with the shifts I have got.. then the 2 week training... then all the time I will need to spend accruing holidays... it just wont be fair.

I suggested hubby takes my eldest to Spain for a week, so at least he gets a break but he wont go alone, he's worried my Toddler will be crying for Mammy.

Maybe if you tell them of your commitments, they can let you start later? I would say it is worth asking!!!!!

I dont think everyone is being asked the same. I got asked about what gave me the most job satisfaction in my previous employment, others have been asked about how they handle difficult situations.

I wouldnt worry too much, it was a very relaxed interview!

Thanks for that Oliver27, looks like no workbooth cd for me today then

I think the workbooth conference call is for everyone  I havent even got the cd yet so it cant be just for people having problems :D

The Waltons, it really would be a shame if you have to pull out now, hopefully they will let you delay your start if you do decide to go on holiday.
