Just had a call, will be having a final interview tomorrow!

Need to prepare 4 refs, and complete something that is being sent to my inbox.
    Sig ah Sig Ahhh
  • hello Guys..

Today i have recived call for my final interview.
she asked me some general questions .Thats ok...
But she asked me about the shifts.I told her that i can work any week days but want sunday off.
then she replied they will keep my information on the record and when that shift (sunday off) will be available they will contact me.

This means that i was nt selected ohh no......
    I was very depressed now...icon9.gif.

Please help me if this happens with anyone.

even i didnt recive Workbooth Cd yet.

    Thanks...
  • Thanks all-this job is hopefully just what I needed. Lost a well paid job back at xmas and was working PT then lost that too in May. Ben on Income suport since, have a work contract few hours a week from October but needed a home job to boost, then saw this, thanks.
Did the application, had first little interview and last interview today and got the job yeah! Didn't want to work every weekend but to be honest is prob best as my kids go to dads Fri night to Mon morn so its quiet. So promted for asplit shidts 5-7 and 9-11 .
The shifts they had available were:
    Wed-Sun 5-9 or Tue-sat 5-9 or
    Sat thro wed split or
Thur- mon split which I prompted for.
benefits is it leaves me free to do some self employed work during day when baby is 6 months old and I claim childcare then paid 80% for the week, which means I may have to work some nights but can get a couple of days also free. Good luck all...training strarts Monday yippee!

How do you get to know you have been selected ?
Do they tell you straight away after the final interview or send you confirmation email later?
  • They said on phone and then sent a confirmation e-mail. they also asked for references so all subject to these.
  • Few,

Got an email today stating that my holidays were not a problem, only thing is I have to start training on the 1st October. 1st October is better than nothing.

Plus I will get the inside info on the training off you guys, to give me a helping hand before I start, LOL
Eeee by gum, does your belly touch your bum ? :p
  • Ooops, forgot to ask.
How long did it take to get the other pack through? Not the woorkbooth CD, the other one.
    Cheers.

Once you get a copy of the contract by email,
the new hire pack is normally 2-3 working days
    behind

How did you get on with the solicitor today, did they fill everything in for you okay?

I was also wondering if you had found anything out about the workbooth assesment conference call yet?

This is what it said in my email about it
Work Booth Session Wednesday September 5th 6pm -730pm BST
There was also a telephone number and passcode.. the thing is, I have no idea what I am supposed to do? Does anyone know how you join a telephone conference?

  • Hi MBM

Yeah everything ok with solicitor, have to go
back tomorrow to pick up the paperwork and
then get it in the post,

    Have a look here http://workbooth.info/index.php?PHPSESSID=f748544a5af7cf6f3e99bd3b1ef7e178&topic=368.0
it says workbooth session for people with boot or connection
problems, thats why I said I thought it was only for them,
all you do is dial number then type in passcode, record your name
then your introduced into the conference call, keep in mind it's not
    a freecall though.
