Ahhh should work then-as I'm also on Virgin and it worked for me (and at least one other Virgin person in my training group).

iwell i still having problems this end ive got my online meeting in an hrs time and keep being told to install the add ive tried but still not working ive used ie7 firefox unistalled and reinstalled macromedia all my pop up blockers are off taken off my firewall now only thing left is my firewall on the router should i try it or not also been asked to redo the workbooth assesment to see if pc compatible this still isnt working

EDIT: I went into Dixons to buy a suggested router and they said that a router wouldnt work for a work-at-home purpose unless I also bought the adopter (which goes into the back of my PC apparently) with it, which was an extra 15 quid. Is this true?

Tried that, still no joy, it completes the test ok, i get 3 green ticks, then i get "connecting to server", & a green bar then i get an error saying failed to connect! The troubleshoot link takes me to a blank page!

i received email to do technical assesment again been trying all day ...ive had no luck ...nobody can understand why i cant get it to work... it will work on my daughters pc but that is wireless and lower memory than mine...i downloaded the analyzer had the black screen, notepad opened with all the system summery on and that was it no button to upload no nothing....taken off pop up blocker, taken off the firewall on my router and pc taken off my antivirus all adobe is upto date so is my java (uninstalled and reinstalled both) so i spoke to live help they told me to send a copy of the notepad page to [EMAIL="hboathome@teletech.com"]hboathome@teletech.com[/EMAIL] so did that ... just received email back saying

Once you’ve received the email, kindly capture it in a print screen and send it to us.... ive been having this problem for over 2 weeks..also had online meeting today noone could get on that as there were tech probs...i was told if i still cant get it to work i will have to phone there technical support at my expense ... can someone please help a desperate lady ......

Run it on the other PC? Might be the easier solution for now and if the specs are not up to it tell Teletech you are upgrading it for the job if you get it?

What adaptor and why did you mention working at home? They are just trying to sell you stuff now

Groovychick - i am in the same boat as you. have done the tech assessment over 50 times to date and still no luck. I went on the workbooth help pages (under faq) and it tells you a few simple steps to see if your ethernet is one of the non accepted ones. Apparently mine is (mine is a realtek one?) and they don't accept those. Have to get a belkin one which i found out are being discontinued so the prices are rising. Have decided to wait to see if i get the job before paying out any money. This may be the problem you are having?? There is also the chance that i could pay out for a new adapter and then find something else is wrong?? oh the joy of jobseeking lol!!
