This may be a silly question but hopefully Oliver27 or PaulK- the oracles- will know the answer. At the moment I am with BT but I am seriously considering changing to talk talk (will save £40 per month) - do you know if I will have any problems?? as they did ask me who my service provider was?

I have a question that im hoping one of the fully fledged employees will know the answer to. I will also be claiming tax credits. Do they have a uk office that you send the form to so they can fill it out?? Asked my recruiter and she said she didn't have a clue but i'm sure that i can't be the only one to want to know the answer to this. Thanks!
  • I have applied for @home, they rung me today to see if I am still interested. Only filled online last night. They sent me mails to chk laptop is up to scratch. Not having much luck as email says you will find out straight away online, which I can't see. Do they mail you? Gonna do the skills assesment now..... Any advice? I am trying to read this from the beginning, only on page 19 tho. Do the orig few that joined still work for them? How did you go on re the request for insurance? Thanks.

Yes HQ is Belfast, so you shouldn't have a problem

No you wont have any issues as its still a normal phone line
just you pay talk talk instead of BT

but I will say be careful deciding if talk talk is for you,
as once you move your line to them you can only ever
have them as your ISP, and moving the line back to BT is not
easy and will leave you without any internet for at least
a week which will mean you cant work from home

So just make sure its what you want, personally if it was me
I would keep the line with BT and try to get Sky broadband
mid or max for £5 or £10 a month

Well, still no joy login on to the meetingplace, but i had my interview with Shawna on Tuesday, & had a follow-up call today. I was just asked to confirm my availability & the hours i could work & that was it! She told me the next training starts at the end of April & she would be in contact with me periodically until then. I asked if there is anything i need to do now & she said no.So, it's just a waiting game now!

They do normally conatct you after a couple of days after completing the online assessments. You will be invited to attend an online group meeting which is just an overview of the company, hours & job. If you are still interested you can arrange a telephone interview with the recruiter. If it is for the sales role you will have a 2nd interview with a Sales Manager also.
