has anyone else got there welcome pack yet?
Hi Helen,
I likewise start training on the 26th and have also not received a contract, welcome pack or anything yet, I was told to expect an email from a trainer, I haven't got that, I was going to email my agent but I'm not sure if this is just the normal procedure timeframe, I passed my interview just over a week ago.
Not that long to go, so I would expect something to develop by early next week, else the panic will set in!0 -

Loving the job.......
Any way thats another story ! lol
Any one know who the best and cheapest ISP would be for this job, im on orange at tho mo and if I stay with them I cant work untill I get it changed and if I don't get it changed I dont have a job ! They change the IP addy every half hour and it cuts me off.
Yes I know the sky BB is cheap, but I dont want to pay extra for the TV (yes I know we get it half price). I got this job to make money not pay more money for TV and my Internet.
Any help is much appreciated x x x
if you change ISP you'll have to wait for Orange to decommision your BB on your line and then wait for the new ISP to commision your BB with their service which normally takes 2 weeks and you could lose your job.
Your best bet is to speak to Orange and see about getting a static IP address rather than DHCP. You'll need to manually program the IP address into your network settings but it'll never change.0 -

Do you know how to do this, according to Orange there is nothing they can do. Every person I spoke to was telling me something different ! Apart from there's nothing that can be done ! Great help.Eeee by gum, does your belly touch your bum ?0 -
to be honest i've just looked all over the orange website and can't find anything about static IP's, even in the business section which is a bit stupid.. although saying that they're a phone company really rather than an ISP so it looks like you might have to change provider..0

OK I used to work from home, however, without reading 61 pages of postings, can someone tell me what does one have to do for this company, I have read the profiles etc. But it doesn't tell me what I would have to do in order to earn money...................tx0

narnia2000, quite simply you would be working in a call centre from your home. Imagine what a call centre is like if you haven't worked in one - people ringing up wanting to know why their internet isn't working, or how much do they have to pay for an upgrade, or why hasn't the phone line been set up etc etc etc.
The easy part is that you do it from the comfort of your own home, but I imagine that the job isn't easy peasy. You'd have to deal with customers who could possibly be a right pain in the !!! at times so it's not for everyone.
Hope that helps0 -

.
Thats really abit far fetched in my opinion
I have moved ISP's at least 4 times in the past
all using the MAC code process, and the switchover
was always done on the same day
Of course there is always a chance of something going
wrong in the move over process, but it's not the norm.0 -
I have received my contract through the post this morning0
