  • I've just found the email offering me training from 26 November to 14 December in my inbox (came late last night) - woohoo :)

Mine also says that after training, shifts will be 'scheduled according to the availability we discussed' at interview. But a previous email i got did say i needed to be available from 4pm, so i am a little confused. I'll email back in a bit and try and clarify what the situation is.

Maybe we are busy working ;) Teletech have been looking for some people to expand their hours so it may just be that some of the posters you are relying on for help/ information are actually just very busy. When you are online with Teletech via their CD you cannot access anything over than the Sky.com domain websites so unless you have a second PC sat next door to the work PC then you cannot browse, post or answer questions.
Oh I don 't have a problem with it. I was just assuming there was a level of professional confidentiality (and rightly so).
I find it really encouraging that there have been no disaffected posters who started, left and then posted moaning. It speaks well for the job !
Glad it's going so well. I'm looking forward to the training.

I think it speaks well for the ex staff to be honest, a few of which are posters on here.

Lets just say the stress and lack of support, along with the unsociable hours, were too much for some people.

    Hi everyone,

I applied for this job at teletech about 2 weeks ago and i have still not heard back from anyone.

I really need this job or anything simmilar. Im 20 years old and dropped out of uni 3 months after i started at the age of 18. Since then i have done various jobs but none that really "get me going".

I would like to go back to studying and this would be the perfect part time job for me. beats stacking shelves and the experience would be awesome.

 Should i be worried that i have not heard back from then. I really would like to start as soon as.

How long on average does the application process start? And what is the maximum amount of hours you are allowed to do?

    Thanks

    Kamran

    Hi Helen,

I had my interview today, and was told that training is from Nov 26th to December 14th, so yes its three weeks. 5 to 9 also for me!

Just wondering, the interviewer never told me 'well done you've got the job' she just told me that I'd passed and that I would start training on the 26th, does that mean Ive got the job or is there a further elimination process during training?
  • Hi V-Lo,

I was wondering that too! I don't know whether to feel happy that i've got the job yet, because it still feels like it's all up in the air. The three weeks of training do sound daunting...
