    Hi V-Lo,

I was wondering that too! I don't know whether to feel happy that i've got the job yet, because it still feels like it's all up in the air. The three weeks of training do sound daunting...
LOL, I'm feeling the confused emotion too! I'm sure everything is cool, three weeks is pretty daunting, but dont worry too much, I am sure the job is very procedural and every possible angle will be covered, the board in general seem to like the challenge.

    Good Luck with everything!

I am interested to know if previous call centre work experience is a condition to getting the job? Thanks

I think I might have missed my chance then, I delayed because of a holiday.Damn!
  • Well...I have just read this thread from the start!!! It was like an ongoing serial with me waiting as to what the job was, who got it etc. What I now want to know is out of the people who trained in Sep, who is still doing it and is it ok?
  • hi catwoman

sorry to hear you didn't stay with the job.
Im about to start training in Nov, was wondering how long you did the work for? was it very busy? :o
  • hi mumofjusttwo
did you deceide to go for the job or not??
I thought the training was only for 2wks but its for 3wks n it starts from 5pm so i'm have to ask to leave early from my day job at mo
    which is not good

I think they were pretty clear about the hours and rate of pay from the outset. I don't think it's a job for anyone with young children or a needy OH as you do need to be left alone to get on with it-but that's the same for any job-this one just happens to be at home.
I'm not a "student type" whatever THAT means ! The hours suit me and I can organize my home to enable a suitable working enviroment and I'm still free during the day-for me it's ideal as a single Mum with a teenager who understands that when I'm working he fends for himself but I'm still physically there rather than leaving him whilst I'm at work.
Not for everyone but for me it suits and I'm looking forward to training starting.

  • I AM a student, well a mature one anyway, but not single lol ;)

It may not ideal and i'm nervous about it all, whether i can do it, etc, but i'm looking forward to it too. I love the idea of working from home, i've been looking out for a job like this for ages :)

Good luck to everyone who's starting training soon!
