Hi there, I have been trawling through the availability for 1nt next Friday 15th April in a double and wondered if you had any recommendations. Budget is up to £150 and would like anything central. Am leaning towards the Andaz which is £145 but wondered if it was worth waiting til next week?

    Thanks
    Kerry

I think you can probably get away with waiting till next week, that night doesn't look very busy. A couple of other offers that are worth keeping in the back of your mind are The Kensington Hotel for £149 b&b at hotelstayuk and "Luxury Boutique Knightsbridge Hotel" which is The Cadogan at £150.
  • Thanks, will hold on until after the weekend and see whats available then.

Does anyone know which hotel this is? (I've searched the thread but didn't get any results)

    Thanks :)

Looks likely to be the Grange Tower Bridge, which I don't think has opened yet. Can't confirm this 100% as they're trying more tricks nowadays but it seems fairly obvious.

Ugh. Marathon. The hotel you quote is the Radisson Edwardian Grafton, OK but not amazing.

Best location for you is Melia White House hotel available for £143/nt inc breakfast from HotelPronto, better hotel, same money and you get to eat.

In other areas, hotelstayuk (password vip) has Hilton Canary Wharf at £113 b&b & the Park City at £134 b&b. Lastminute has Mint Westminster at £143 and new secret hotel "Discover a modern hotel close to Tower of London" which is Mint Tower of London at £120. I also saw a decent rate on the Ashburn hotel somewhere.

Pelican you are brilliant- thanks for all your hard work!
  • Hi, Ive waited until after the weekend but need some advice please. A double room for 1nt this Friday 15th April. Anything central to Picadilly Circus / Ocford St. Or Liverpool Street as that is where we will be coming into. Budget is up to £150.

Hello, congratulations for this great forum! I need your help for our first time in London. 2 double rooms next to a tube station. Budget is 140 max per room. I find a top secret hotel in lastminute at 126, I think it is thr CRANLEY but not sure, reviews are great but have no breakfast include and tube station are not close. Thanks in advance for all your help!
  • Andaz for Friday is £145 (same as direct on their website!). Do you think this is likely to come down?

I unfortunately doubt the Andaz will come down any further now. It's still not a bad deal at £145.

    Also to consider:
Award Winning Boutique Hotel - Threadneedles Hotel £132
Luxury Boutique Knightsbridge Hotel - The Cadogan £150

At the slightly cheaper end of the market:
Excellence ideal for Oxford st. shopping - Hilton London Metropole £86.25
Amazing Rates-near Buckingham Palace & Theatres - Park Plaza Victoria £92.25
Amazing deal - Fab Paddington Hotel - Novotel London Paddington £99
    Hotel Megaro £90 (venere)
Crowne Plaza London Shoreditch £96 b&b (hotelstayuk, password vip)
    London Bridge Hotel £100 b&b (hotels4u)
